I'm glad to resurrect them, be done with them. If you're still reading this I'll tell you a little about each title. Notes of a young drummer are a collection of stories, events and memories about my music journey from to Floridian in Paris is a collection of photo images I shot in and The music, nightclubs, hotels, gigs, friends and behind the scene descriptive memories of a journey. I dedicate this book to all musicians, we probably share similar stories. My other 3 books were also completed in Sept. My stories for this trilogy of books are in 3 categories'.
You Play The Drums? Contain the subject of music as the focus. On the page, my books look similar. I'm happy doing it this way, I believe each book is different when you know my concept. I've been a musician-drummer since I try to write with music forms in mind. They can be rhythmic or Avant-garde. Jazz or improvised free form. The way I read each piece determines the rhythmic form.

Having known Mike for nearly 40 years now I must say he is one of the most gifted and interesting people on this planet and probably on the planet he came from as well.

The road isn't for everyone and neither is this book. But anyone who ever even had even an inkling of a thought about playing music for a living should read it before they are allowed to go out and chase their dream on the long and winding road.
I know several who went that way, only to turn back and take an easier path to Oz. But not Michael Welch. He continues to amaze me with his willingness to throw it all on the table and let the chips fall where they may. Others will be writing books about you before it's all over. I also want each piece to look a certain way on the page. I don't punctuate or capitalize correctly. The way the words phrase, flow and their rhythm are more important. I haven't reinvented the wheel here.
