A Tidbit

I cringed at the scenes of gossip and humiliation. This unflattering glimpse of church members is a great reminder that we are all flawed and human. Insightful themes include grace, forgiveness, and a change of heart. All opinions are uniquely my own. Oct 24, Phyllis rated it really liked it.

A Tidbit of Trust is a moving story about changed lives. Sara has finally surrendered her life to the Lord and is committed to living a godly life, but those who have known her reputation at church don't believe she is different. She struggled with forgiving herself for her past, especially for the life she had lived as a Christian. There was a beautiful scene in the book where she is having a conversation about her struggle and expressing a desire to do penance for her sins.

The response was A Tidbit of Trust is a moving story about changed lives. The response was a wonderful message about how Jesus' blood is always sufficient to pay for our sins. Adam was a total jerk to Sara when they bumped into each other in Jamaica. I didn't like him at all at first because of his self-righteous attitude and lack of forgiveness. But as he saw how wrong he was, he began to grow on me. This story is part of a series, however, it can be read alone.

The entire series is very well written and enjoyable, though, so I suggest you don't miss any of the books in it. This review was originally posted on Among the Reads I received this book for free from Elizabeth Maddrey in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. At first I thought I did not like his character but shows how we can learn not to overreact, things are not always like they seem. She had a past that haunted her.

I was so pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this book was! Neither Sara nor Adam were perfect, but they were following Christ, and they were imperfect, flawed, tempted humans.

This was a nice Christian romance that focuses on many problems dating Christians face. With prayer, forgiveness and trust a couple can go forward in a relationship. I loved the storyline, all the characters new and old,and of course the romance. I recommend this book for dating Christians and those who love romance.

She's at a local resort, and he knows her reputation -- but he's attracted anyway. Meanwhile, she's trying to shake off that old reputation and turn her life around, but too many people from church won't let her make a clean break with her past. The book deals with a number of various examples of how things can get messed up, and how they can be worked through for a good outcome. A really well fone "take" on it all. She writes well, feels real. Apr 25, Margaret Nelson rated it really liked it. I enjoyed this final book of the series, although since it's the last one, I wish Maddrey had included an epilogue with their wedding! She did a good job on exploring trust in a relationship, both trusting oneself and trusting the other person.

The only thing that I think kind of shook Chris up about being 30 is when I reminded him that I met him when he was I also thought I'd remind him multiple times that this is his last birthday with just the two of us celebrating we are so excited to meet baby girl this month! I can't say I blame Chris for handling turning 30 so well He served a mission, graduated from BYU, got married to quite a catch ; earned his Master's, and has continuously climbed higher at work all while managing to go on fun trips and maintain favorite uncle, friend, and husband status!

Chris might be one of those rare breeds that just gets better with age I'll check back in with you when he turns Definitely saving it for another post another day.

Just know it involves a lot of pregnancy hormones. Okay, and maybe because I feel guilty about not putting all these things on sticky notes for Chris to wake up to on his birthday because I kind of had a weeks-pregnant meltdown the night before Chris' birthday. Biggest pet peeve is when someone won't text back or just say "no. Claims he "managed Grovecrest Elementary's main office for 6 months" in 6th grade and that they never let anyone else do that. I would almost consider myself that person if I didn't have this bad habit of grabbing a donut specifically square donut from Lehi bakery!!! Pepper right after my High class every Saturday morning Posted by Shayli Gourley at 4: Everyone did so good! Sadly, most of what I consumed was not pictured. But holy beignets, dole whips, churros, corndogs, monte christo sandwhiches, and pomme fries!!! Obviously, the good far outweighed the bad or the ugly on this trip!

Which is exactly why I've been trying to think of a way to convince Chris we need to go back to Disneyland like yesterday. Chris has already told me we're not going until our first born is at least 8 years old I love Disney, but I love my family even more, so I'm SO happy we got to put the two together and go on this epic trip that I will always remember! Until next time, Disneyland hopefully sooner than 8 years!
