While I enjoy speculation and fairy tales as much as everyone else, I wanted to share the facts behind the popular Petrus Romanus stories. I'm a Christian, a father and a husband. I'm interested in history, comparative religion, philosophy, and mythology. I'm deeply inspired by the leading voices related to the Great Awakening, and the Christian Enlightenment of the 18th and 19th centuries.

First of let me say that I am not a religious person and normally don't ready book like this, but my interest was piqued by a watching a TV show about this subject a few weeks ago. The Saint Malachy prophecy was writing more than years ago stating that Pope Benedict would be the second to last pope. The next pope would be during the period of end of days. The author give you lots of history to back his claims on why the prophecy is wrong and other ideas on how they could gotten it so wrong.

He breaks down the story logically so it is easy to understand, even for non-bible reading people. If you're a history buff and would like to learn something new each day like I do this might be the book for you to read. The book is full of the facts about The Saint Malachy prophecy and after reading you will be able to spot all the flaws in its entirety. One person found this helpful. I've read the books about the prophesy that says our current pope could be the last pope.
