Just wasn't my cup of tea. Oct 09, Danielle rated it it was ok. I received a free ARC for a honest review. I'm a fan of Nicole Snow's MC romance series. Some books I don't like and some I do. I keep reading because the side characters hook me. I want to know whats in store for them and the MC. Just because I wasn't a fan of one book doesn't mean I won't like the next. This book was one I didn't love. I will read Firefly, Joker and Dusts' stories if she writes them. For me the book didn't seem to flow. The bones of a great story were there, but it wasn't fles I received a free ARC for a honest review.

The bones of a great story were there, but it wasn't fleshed out. There were abrupt scene changes between one paragraph and the next, like the start of a new chapter. Scenes were an individual, for example, was having sex on the bar when the main couple walks in to the clubhouse. A few sentences later, that same couple are described as sitting watching TV enjoying post sex afterglow as the main characters, again, walk into the clubhouse. Things often just didn't line up.

The Deadly Pistols MC was broke and only very vague reasons are mentioned. To much partying and the old and new guard made mistakes.

The Grizzlies MC was a mess and we knew why. It added depth to the story. I want to understand the MC because the bikers live and die for it. It is a HUGE part of who they are as people. The members are proud to be Pistols, they were it on their skin and cuts. Skin got the scar on his face in a fight because he felt his club had been disrespected.

At the same time the Pistols were allowing an enemy club to work in their territory. How did that happen? Why did they ignore it? They mention other Pistol Chapters, but we really don't know if there are or not. I found it really hard to take them seriously.

Other things like Skin's eye color being hazel one page and on the next described as dark brown. There usually is editing issues in her books, but this was more than grammar and punctuation.

It really seemed like a rough draft, a project still developing. All that said, I'll still read her next Pistol book, I know there is more than a good chance I'll enjoy it. Calling a tattoo machine an ink gun annoyed the crap out of me personally. Also using the word stenciling to describe the actual act of putting ink into flesh made me cringe. I'm always surprised with how little people know about the process. To be a good tattoo artist takes a LOT of skill, talent, patience, knowledge and time. So when the process is described the way it was in this book it grates. That's just my personal pet peeve and I see it all to often.

Seemed like her world was all planned out for her and she had nothing to worry about. Meg never dreamed how much her world would change the night she went to a party with a best-friend and left her boyfriend wanting with need.

Her nightmare was just starting. The perfect world that was given to her on a silver plater had came crushing down the night she was kidnapped and forced to be a sex slave. How could the perfect night go so wrong. Hell is where she lived. Day in and day out. Each night pleasing one john after another. Just waiting to be sold to the highest bider. She got to see the bad of the MCs.

Her job was to please them. To shut up open her mouth and take it. Skin was an outlaw of the Deadly Pistols MC. He lived and breathe the MC. They were his family, his brothers, and his life. He would be lost without them. They have been everything to him. He would steal, fight, and protect his brothers the best he could. He never had sex with the same woman more then once. Women were good for one thing and that was to service him. Skin knew the moment he saw her that Fresh aka Meg was the one. He wanted her for his old lady. He wanted her every night.

He had promised he could save her from her hell, that he would come back for her but can he really keep that promise. Fresh was the name Meg went by now. Meg died the night she was kidnapped. Skin had promised to save her to protect her but it seemed time had run out. Can Skin really save her? Is her waiting in vain. She had been kidnapped, dehumanized, forced, and abused. She needs a savior.

Some one that will reach down into hell and pull her out. She is not the girl she once was. Will she go from one hell into another? Her family want her back safely. There are people that want to take her and abuse her some more. Seems like her nightmare will never end. I just love MC books. I also love Nicole Snow's books as well.

She is truly an amazing writer. I received this for an honest review. If you love a bad boy and books on MCs you are just going to fall in love with Skin and Meg.

Megan is just trying to stay alive in a bad situation, hoping that she might be able to escape the life she's been thrown into. She prays everyday for her knight in shining armor but I'm not sure she was expecting who she got.

She thinks h When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade right? She thinks he's her hero saving the day — then she finds out she is still stuck in this bad situation. Will Skin turn out to be the guy she's been looking for all along or will he turn out to be just another pig trying to use her?

Everything is a bit harsher than the sweet sappy romance books I was used to at the time - but I liked that.

This one is no different. She perfectly captured everything I imagine when I think of hard-ass biker clubs. There's drama, there's intensity, there's attitude, and oh — the sex scenes. If you love a good dirty talking man, you have got to check out Skin. He's rough and tough, but he has so much appeal that you can't help but hope he is the good guy after all. The way she writes makes me so anxious to get to the next part that I literally read this entire book in one sitting. The whole thought-process on h Not my favorite Deadly Pistols book that title belongs to Never Have an Outlaw's Baby but it was still a good read.

The whole thought-process on how she actually got the money from her parents was somewhat messy too. There were two really stellar things about this book: I loved getting the dirty details of Skin's revenge! Even though this first book was a skosh of a letdown, I'm planning on checking out book two in the series, Never Kiss an Outlaw. I'm looking forward to seeing Firefly meet his match!! ARC given in exchange for an honest review I really enjoyed this story, I was hooked from the beginning. The author has a way with her writing that keeps you focused. This has a really good plot and sticks to it till the end.

Overall a really good story. Megan is living a life that she never thought was possible and didn't think that she would ever get out of where she was. She's done things that nobody should ever have to let alone be in the place she is. Everything changes when she meets Skin, ARC given in exchange for an honest review I really enjoyed this story, I was hooked from the beginning. Everything changes when she meets Skin, the bad boy alpha of a MC club.

She knows to stay away from members of any MC but she can't stay away from him. Skin has been in the MC almost all his life, it's what he knows. When he goes into the dirty whorehouse and sees Megan - he knows that he must help her. He will do whatever he can to help her and then make her his. So many emotions will go through you in this story, some will feel real. A story also about love forming between two characters that didn't think was possible. The chemistry will also heat things up.

The Deadly Pistols is on a raid when Skin comes across Megan and realized she didn't belong there and told her he would come back for her soon as he checked out her story and made plans for the rescue.

I think my mouth hung open more than not, and not in a good kinda way either I really and truly hope this disappointing feeling is a once off kinda thing and I will again be blown away by her next book On a plus side the cover is really hot and totally drool worthy!!!!

That was just cruel, even for Ms. What I always liked about Jane was how sweet and innocent she always seemed, even though her best friends are quite possibly tougher than all those bikers they hang out with.

Yeah she was a bit wimpy at times and hell even a doormat, but so sweet.

I'm so disappointed with Jane's story because she deserves so much better than to end up with a man like Cade. He's such a fucking hypocrite, always spouting how she needs to stop running and talk to him but the first time he thinks she blows him off, he goes off to fuck the first whore he sees, then the second, third, forth and so on! He acted more like a recalcitrant child than a mature grown man! What I hate most about these women, is the fierce loyalty they feel towards these cheating asswads! He was out fucking everything with a hole, but she couldn't bring herself to even try and pursuit a new relationship with a man who genuinely cared about her, because all she thought of was Cade's nasty ass!

I'm tired of reading of stupid females like this I hope and pray that Killyama's story is different, because if there's one woman who will not put up with a cheating douchebag.. If said man does cheat I hope to God she gets back at him She cannot let us strong women down! Two stars because the sex was hot and you gotta love Sex Piston and her crew! If they are involved.. I finished it and I had such mixed feelings I mean he was sleeping with Bliss when Winter was basically dying. Then I read this Could the lead character be anymore of a jackass!! Jane is sweet and her backstory just makes you wants to Mama Bear her. So I'm sorry to say I hated this story, I wanted to pull a Killyama and just beat Cade's ass the whole time.

I hate to say it but if this is the kinda stuff I'll read in Willa's story if she's it I'm quitting. I just can't stand the heartbreak and I am not that forgiving. She takes these tough biker chicks, and she totally turns the tables on our assumptions on these ladies. And now Fat Louise heading into a cartel run, mexican city to save her spoiled bitch of a sister You Go Fat Louise!!

Cade had NO idea what he was getting himself into when he took the job to extract the girls, and after he is done with the job, he finds himself being drawn to Jane, and he takes matters into his own hands. What happens isn't an easy HEA, it's heartbreak, stupid pride and some very yummy make up sex Keep em coming girl!

Jan 17, Janina rated it it was amazing Shelves: The Story starts with Fat Louise beeing down in Mexico trying to save her Sister Bailey, and she doesnt want any help from her Biker Bitches, she wants to do this on her own. Cade is the Mercenary hired to find and rescue both sisters. The Mission in Mexico is extremely dangerous and doesnt go as planned at all! Cade cant forget about her, because Jane is not as one would expect at all.

Back home at the Biker Club that Jane belongs to, Cade turns up and here the real Story of them both beginns. Jane wants Cade, Cade wants Jane and thats exactly what happens until one of them screws up so badly, there is almost no coming back from, or is there? This was a 5 Star read for me, simply because of Fat Louise. You just cant help but feel for her, she and her Story broke my heart.

This has to be one of the sweetest, most generous woman ever and even though she is such a shy and timid Person she is so strong. Cade was a douche in the beginning, a real stubborn fool in the middle and in the end he was just all about our Girl Jane, no doubt about it. I also loved all the glimpses we got about the other characters in Jamie Begleys World, especially the other Biker Bitches and of course we did get some Last Riders here too!!

I love the idea of these Biker Bitches and i adored Sex Piston!! Without a doubt, Jamie Begley is a good writer. And because of how much I enjoyed reading Sex Piston no matter how much the name made me cringe , I had high expectations for this one. Unfortunately, it missed the mark. For the most part, I liked Jane aka Fat Louise.

I really felt for her and how she has always been made to feel she is second best, and was excited to read about her journey. Loved how her girls had her back especially Killyama, but she's such a kick-arse chick it didn't surprise me.

I even really liked Cade , the hero, and was hopeful he was going to be like Stud Sex Piston's man. But she has to leave the next morning and accidentally leaves her phone behind. He tries calling her, can't get through so takes that as an excuse to have sex with another woman. Jane finds out and runs away. For the next two months, Cade sleeps with every willing woman around, but then when he finds out about the consequences of their night together, he decides only then that they should be together.

I find it hilarious and not in a funny way when the hero blames the heroine for him sleeping around, and that's exactly what Cade did. Jane ran away so it's her fault. Yes, she tells him she no longer trusts him and doesn't want to be hurt that way again, and they sorted out their issues to get to the HEA. But I can't help but lose all respect for him when he acted like a cheating POS and was waiting for the next time he had a teenage drama meltdown and do it again.
