Personal opinion about this book: This is one of the light-hearted comfort books I have read to my nieces. Powerful illustration is depicted in this book that shows the emotion of the story line. The main theme that is portrayed is the unconditional love a parent has with their child. I find this book very relatable because it reminds me of the love my parents have with their children.
That no matter what we go through in life, our parent will love us, always be our supporter, motivator and would be the last ones to judge us. I really enjoyed reading this book as it encourages emotional development for young readers.

There is no worry in failing or being different from the rest since they will always have the support from their parents. Also a good way to start a conversation with my 5 year old about our conflicts in relationships and loving each other even when we don't like what the other person is doing. It's a bit much for him to fully understand now but we're working on it.

The Little Chick asks his Mommy whether she still loves him after jumping in the muddiest puddle, losing a race, dropping a rose, and screaming loudly. It portrays how every parent has an everlasting love on their children no matter what they say or do. Everyone of us is imperfectly perfect, and it shows how our parents are our number one fans.
I personally loved reading this book. It reminded me of my dearest mother and how much love I have for her. Just as the Mother Hen, my mother has been an unconditional motivator, supporter and shoulder to rely on for the twenty-one years of my life. Our parents were the first ones to ever love us and they will be the last ones to judge us.
I would recommend this book because it is great story for children to reflect on how the unconditional love of a parent is unbreakable. It stimulates the idea that they should not be scared of failing or being different, since parents will be there to support and guide their child.
The audience can enjoy the illustrations since it depicts the emotions and actions the Little Chick is doing. That is not a good review for a children's book. I did not love the illustrations, I did not like mummy hen all that much and little chick was annoying. I wanted the book to end.
I understand the idea behind the book - that everyone wants to be loved but seriously, I felt like only mother hen could love this chick. It is good that mother hen loves him. He My daughter borrowed this book from the library and we have read it together once. He has a chance of developing a likable character. I'd rather read that book. Mommy Do You Love Me?
It's an introduction to First Peoples' culture, and I think it gives children a secure feeling. The reviewers who worry that some parts of the story are vivid and scary can relax. Kids who haven't been overprotected love that stuff. And besides, some kids are afraid of clowns. I was introduced to this book while we lived in Alaska and just fell in love with it. This is our favorite family book and a wonderful way to introduce the beautiful Alaska Native traditions. My kids out of the blue will often quote the beginning of the book "Mama, do you love me? One person found this helpful.
Such a beautiful story and the artwork is beyond awesome!! I taught school among the Yupik Eskimos and can attest to the wonder of this book. I bought it for a friend who just had a little boy and she said it was a really lovely read. Get the hardcover as you will want to keep it forever I see why this is considered a timeless classic. The message is powerful and the little girl's questions are very sweet. The portrayal of Inuit culture is also very educational and interesting.
It can be useful for learning the names of some arctic animals too. The drawings are well done and depict the cultural aspect. I recommend this heart-warming book for small children.
Why Don't You Love Me?, Abortion Poem by Teens
We read it times a week mostly because we are stalling before bedtime, but also, it's cute and loving and so affirming for small kiddos whose mommies and daddies are divorcing. Really warm and affectionate and it's easy to change some of the more specific terms to more general words, making it more age-appropriate if your kiddo is smaller. I received this book yesterday. Very fast shipping on a prime subscription. This book is a board book, i immediately red it to my daughter, she loved it and i loved it, not just the quality of the book but the story is such a beautiful story of a mother who will love her daughter unconditionaly no matter what.
Its a great gift but also great to keep it for your self and for your daughter. I highly recommend this book. Beautifully illustrated and written.
