Vuelva a intentarlo en otro momento. I did somewhat enjoy reading this but it became so annoying with Penny constantly saying Professor Hunter when she called his name. This book has a cliff hanger I really do not like it when books are like this. WOW on a few different levels, from the heat to the heart break. I think most people can find something to relate to in this book.

A Duke’s Temptation

Okay basics of book, young girl making her way in college, younger teacher trying to find his own happiness in life. Chance meeting outside of school gets the ball rolling, bad decisions, hot dirty monkey sex, lies, tears and wanting. I have to admit that the lead female Penny really got on my nerves but this is due to her age and the choices that many young women make.

I'm hoping that in book 2 this is no longer an issue. Professor Hunter is to hot to handle and I would think most chicks modern dream guy, but he has his own issues and he has a dark side that he is hiding.

His lack of communication really does start to ware a girl down and it would have been nice to have a bit more than surface dialog from him. Over all decent read and I do want to read book 2, just to find out what happens. I can honestly say that I have never gone out of my way to write a negative review, and as a KU reader of mostly romance, I've easily read hundreds. That being said, this book was free and I still feel like I wasted my money.

The main character lacks experience, which is fine, but it's in a Disney princess way She started a relationship with a man and admitted she was in love after 3 encounters with him. Her emotions range from despair to euphoria like a histrionic mental patient, and because there was so little actual character development, that the sex scenes while actually well written really fell flat. However, probably the single most irritating thing about this book is that even after she starts dating him-literally the entire damn book, she calls him by his title And not in a sexy way- in this horribly immature and borderline creepy way.

  • Hunter (Temptations Series) by Kristin Michelle Adams.

This was an awful struggle to read and I feel bad for saying so but sweet Jesus pass on this one. Well written, but it drags on, then ends abruptly on a cliffhanger. To make this book even better, the relationship needed to progress a little faster.

Tease (Temptation, #4) by Ella Frank

Penny has an exhibition streak in her, isn't sexually experienced and writing more about her feelings could add to the story. James is mysterious, attractive and wealthy.

His background is in tech. The fact that these two didn't look each other up on the internet right away isn't realistic. Yes, it would've made telling their story less dramatic, but as a couple, there might have been more trust and less excuses for not telling personal details. Age, marital status, college details, would have been open from the start. With all that being said, I'm looking forward to reading this series. If you enjoy the Romance genre, then I recommend this book.

See a Problem?

Be aware of the cliffhanger ending of book one. I hate leaving a bad review, only because it's somebody's work, however, I needed to leave a review of these books. I am an avid reader and I can truly say I have never read such a pathetic book. Unfortunately, I'm one of those readers that has to finish a book once started, It almost became my first unread book.
