The Sarah Puzzle traces her first year spent in therapy. We learn that Sarah spent her early years under the care of a child sex trafficking ring, and the story contains graphic descriptions of sexual abuse in children. Although the descriptions run the risk of being a little repetitive at times, it makes them no less shocking. Towards the end, the story gets even more intense as Sarah uncovers her most disturbing memories.

Well, I am a little biased since I wrote this book but it seemed wrong to not have it on my shelf.

And you will better understand what the victims are going through on a daily basis.

Moving hell, it threw me across the room. Apr 22, Danielle Masursky marked it as to-read Shelves: This book was written by a Syracuse friend of mine. I bought a copy and I'm looking forward to reading it!

Great, gut wrenching read. One person found this helpful. Yes, at times it can be gritty - but so is life. I'm loving the overall feeling of love that surrounds the main characters. The very startling story of a little girl, on her own for four years, and her reintroduction to society after many years of sexual abuse. The author guides us every step of the way into Sarah's recovery, almost making us feel as though we are a real part of her life.

An excellent portrayal of innocence lost by first time author, Annie-Laurie Hunter! Hopefully more to come from her someday! I thought the book was fantastic!! I felt that the author covered the little girls'story very well. It must have been very difficult for the child and the author was able to bring out the feelings the child was reacting too. The adults that were involed in her life made a difference, they show that there are good people in the world.

Looking forward to the continuing story of Sarah!! The story is important and interesting, but the writing and editing are terrible. This book is not for the faint of heart.

It is a realistic depiction of the darkest side of human life. Annie-Laurie's delivery of this rather shocking material left me horrified, yet unwilling to place the book down.

Wanting the best for this little homeless and nameless little girl, I could not help, but reach for the book. I t ended a bit abruptly for me so I am hoping for a follow-up.
