Beyond the Desert Gate
Set in AD in Jordan The story was disjointed, almost as if the author only had so many words that could be published and she edited out the descriptions and transitions. I had difficulty understanding what was happening, following who was speaking and who was in each scene.
The story line was easy to This was a terrible read. The story line was easy to predict and I was surprised by the lack of moral or point to the entire book. I did enjoy the map at the front of the book, it helped a great deal while reading.
