He said things only God could say and he did things only God could do. This makes it clear that indeed, Jesus is God. Therefor the only way we can become children of God, is through Jesus Christ. Some critics desperately want to escape from Jesus Christ by claiming he never existed.

That is nonsense of course, because even our era is based on his birth.
