Help save Christians from genocide. The Quran also instructs that the entire world is to be converted. Islam is not just for a few Middle Eastern countries. No, the banner of Islam is intended for all nations, all the world. And if enticements of paradise don't work, then that banner should be raised with the help of the sword. Advice from a terrorist: These people will not stop at the borders of their native states.

The "Islamic State" will not stop at the Turkish or Saudi border. Boko Haram will not stop at the border of Nigeria. In fact, the world seems to be on the brink of a global Islamic uprising that will not only include the active, militant movements that exist across Africa and Asia, but may soon include outbursts of activity in Europe and the Americas. Christians are being murdered around the world at a rate unprecedented in history. Even during the time of the cruelest Roman emperors, persecutions were occasional, limited affairs-violent in their own way, deadly but brief.

Jihad, as a conflict against the rest of the world, is being glorified across the Islamic world. The United States has legitimized or accepted every form of vice imaginable.

Americans worship celebrities and the dollar, not God or Allah, and we grow obese on rich foods. We eschew hard work. How can we expect to command respect or instill fear in our enemies when we're too cowardly to face an enemy man-to-man? We restrict the military to using drones and cruise missiles instead of meeting the jihadist face-to-face, a strategy that has never worked in all the ages of asymmetrical warfare.

Even the president of Iran found this cowardice worthy of ridicule. America is a laughing stock. Americans are craven, cowardly, obese, slovenly devils that deserve no mercy after decades of policies that have persecuted Muslims around the world. We shouldn't act surprised in the face of their aggression.

We're weak, especially morally. These Muslims truly believe they are doing Allah's work in killing the infidel. They are also more capable of doing this work than at any time in the past. The militants now have modern technology and they have leveraged it to broadcast their mission. Twitter, Facebook, YouTube have all been leveraged to terrible effect.

The Islamic State produces slick videos, even videos which depict brutal executions have a staged, finished quality to them. The message is subtle but clear-these are not ordinary terrorists and this is not an ordinary movement. The terrorists are already recruiting in the United States and around the globe. Hundreds of fighters have come from the west and thousands more from other countries around the world. The Islamic State has sympathizers everywhere. Islam is not confined to a state.

The religion has no regard for what a passport says. One is either in or out, an ally or an enemy. In the western regions of North Africa, militant Islamists are growing in power and soon they too will grab their share of headlines. The world has not seen such a threat from Islam since the battles of Tours and Vienna World War III has started and we remain asleep. How much longer before we get serious about this very real, existential threat to Christianity and our nation? The only defense is to turn back toward God, to convert souls to Christ and abandon our wickedness.

However, the militarization of the Palestinian refugee population, with the arrival of the PLO guerrilla forces did spark an arms race amongst the different Lebanese political factions. It has been argued that the antecedents of the war can be traced back to the conflicts and political compromises reached after the end of Lebanon's administration by the Ottoman Empire. The Cold War had a powerful disintegrative effect on Lebanon, which was closely linked to the polarization that preceded the political crisis.

During the Arab—Israeli War an exodus of Palestinian refugees who fled the fighting or were expelled from their homes , arrived in Lebanon. Palestinians came to play a very important role in future Lebanese civil conflicts, whilst the establishment of Israel radically changed the local environment in which Lebanon found itself. Lebanon was promised independence and on 22 November it was achieved. Free French troops , who had invaded Lebanon in to rid Beirut of the Vichy French forces, left the country in The Christians assumed power over the country and economy.

A confessional parliament was created, where Muslims and Christians were given quotas of seats in parliament. In March , parliament passed an amnesty law that pardoned all political crimes prior to its enactment. The amnesty was not extended to crimes perpetrated against foreign diplomats or certain crimes referred by the cabinet to the Higher Judicial Council.

In May , the militias with the important exception of Hezbollah were dissolved, and the Lebanese Armed Forces began to slowly rebuild themselves as Lebanon's only major non-sectarian institution. Some violence still occurred. At least thirty people were killed, and wounded, including former Prime Minister Shafik Wazzan , who was riding in a bulletproof car.
