I liked this story and it has some truly smokin' moments but also some really strange moments LOL at least, they are to me, just my opinion! I'd previously skipped past this book because I wasn't keen on the cover, now don't get me wrong I love a hot sexy man on a cover but I was struggling to get past the 'budgie smugglers' a nice pair of boxers would have worked so much better for me. First of all, I would like to point out that I find it quite unnecessary to name this series Breeding.

Chris is a lot older than Megan, and the first time they met was when she was eight-years-old. Presently, Megan was at a creative writing camp when Chris arrived at her house. He stayed with her parents as his house was still under construction. He was not able to recognize her at first. He bumped into this curvy blonde whom he felt instantly attracted to, and it seemed that she felt the same way towards him.

The good thing about coach is that, despite being a smut novella, it was still able to produce an arc in the story. Speaking of story arc, I had a little bit of problem with it. It lasted for a span of a few paragraphs. It was too easy to overcome because of how everyone around them saw it, leading to an immediate solution. The characters were okay, but I did not see much struggle in their situation. They owned their secret relationship and almost did not care for anything else around them. For that, I am quite unsure if I should call them responsible adults or irresponsible ones.

Nice, this book was dedicated to me! This book is so ridiculous really! It happened so fast, and I fucking loved it. Like every other book by Alexa Riley the male character always wants a child. This is book It can definitely be read on it's own; but this is a series that is very worth investing your time into it! This series has always been one of my top five faves in the paranormal genre. Lara Adrian has created such a unique world in which her vampires live, love, and fight.

In this installment, we are given Ettore's aka Savage second chance roma Midnight Untamed is part of the "Midnight Breed" series. In this installment, we are given Ettore's aka Savage second chance romance with his long lost love, Bella. When these two meet again after being apart for many years They waste no time in reconnecting, and both decide they don't want to let each other go. There is an enemy though, and he wants Bella for his own, and if she doesn't go with him, her family will be in danger.

Savage decides to help Bella with her enemy, and their journey may be rough along the way; but they are hoping that forever might be something they can have together! As with most novella's I always wish they were longer! In this case, I would have loved a more in depth story about this couple.

The settings are magnificent A road trip in Italy, a village, a palatial villa, a vineyard, an ancient limestone cave. Moreover, another interesting Breed and another Breedmate and her son are joining the series: Scythe is a strange guy, a tortured Breed who will help Savage and Bella and I think he is craving to tell his own story and have his own book. I felt as if I had read some story like this one before!! Maybe it this had been a full length book, I might have got into it I didn't hate it You meet someone after a long long time and there's this re-instalust and re-instalove happening. You run for your life, but your body wants "things" If the book was a lengthy one , not just a short novella, maybe it would have worked. This was nothing new. I've seen this scenario many times.

Midnight Untamed was a quick vampiric read. Plenty of action, reenforced Midnight Breed and Crimson story lines and deliciously hot scenes. Love the author, the amazing series and the spinoffs, five blood dripping stars. Just when he's about to execute his plan he spots a young women among the enemy who is achingly familiar. A women he walked away from 10 years earlier, a women who still owns his heart. Naturally plans change and we are treated to another great Midnight Breed fight against the enemy and hot breed mating!! We are again introduced 4 Savage Stars!! We are again introduced to a new character, this time it's Trygg's damaged, silent, and deadly brother Scythe.

All I can say is I need more of him!! I'm hoping and praying we'll see more of him in the future!! It's his appearance that upped my rating on this too short novella. Of course, Bella is being blackmailed for her scrying skills. If anything happens to the big bad, or she disobeys or lies to him about the future, her sister-in-law and nephew will be killed. Savage doesn't know this and ends up kidnapping her--and blowing his mission.

There really isn't much conflic 2. There really isn't much conflict in the romance department in this one. Savage left Bella 10 years ago because he was convinced he wasn't good enough. Bella has never loved another. All the hurt is resolved in basically one conversation and they are back together.

I didn't understand how it took so long for Savage to recognize her. She was 18 when he left her I don't think she's would have changed that much. Bella recognizes him by his voice alone.

Great short addition to this fabulous series! With the help of Vito Massioni Opus Nostrum have been spreading their reach out across Europe and they're now starting to import larger quantities of the dangerous new drug, Red Dragon. Just one hit of the drug turns members of the Breed into blood-addicted Rogues who are completely unable to control their appetites and we've all seen how that usually ends in a very public bloodbath.

Way too much talk and too much first person perspective. I'm one and done with this series. She had an inkling of psychic abilities and in the end, predictably she is able to do astounding stuff. She also barely spends any time with her alien yet she is madly in love but also managed to have sex with another guy. Oh my word I don't even know how to begin I barely managed to read this book I started skimming through the pages once they crash landed on the planet Betania. First off it starts off we meet what's her name cause really she's that forgettable and she's been chosen as payment to the aliens that helped defeat the other aliens that had claimed earth.

So while she is in line she catches the commanders eye and he publicly claims her and takes her back to the ship. While on the ship she wakes up to fi Oh my word I don't even know how to begin I barely managed to read this book I started skimming through the pages once they crash landed on the planet Betania. While on the ship she wakes up to find herself in his bed and well she starts with the whole spill I'm not here willingly I don't want to have sex with you yada yada ya and well he says that's fine you can go join the other women and I'll find someone else.

Wow such an awesome gift wouldn't you say??? So why the heck didn't she use her "gift" to get herself out of being picked? It was never really explained how she came into these powers how she developed them or when she realized she could use them you were just reading and all the sudden she was having an outer body experience walking into the commanders bedroom. The author had the potential for a good story but I don't really know where she was trying to go with this one. The girl and the commander were suppose to be so deeply in love she called him her beloved and dear god there were probably less then words exchanged between them how can that be??

Hell I read more about her and the two other guys trying to persue her then I did about the commander. If this had been a second book or even third in a series I could understand I missed something along the way but this was book one so there's no excuse for so many holes in the story line. Anyways I will end this by saying I'm sorry for having to leave a negative I always hate leaving negative reviews unless they're really bad but this was not good at all i do not recommend it And that's were we start in this book.

Cassie is one of the women that were given to the Qua'Hathri for their help, and she finds herself in the arms of Khazaar. This is just the second story I've read of Jenny, and I'm quite happy to get to learn more about the world and the aliens. Although I have a couple of things to say about the book, let me just say that over all, I was quite surprised and excited from beginning to end. In terms of plot, it was unexpected to read about Cassie's life from the moment she met Khazaar until the end.

She was a woman with some mind controlling and mind reading abilities that not only got her in difficult situations, but have also helped her get out of some problems and survive. That was something I liked a lot, and since it was in the 1st person POV we had a front seat to her mind and heart, and that made me feel empathy towards her. Then there is Khazaar, that in some way I'm sad that I couldn't get to know him as much as I would loved. Despite that I could see how he was a leader that had his people in mind, loyal and strong. And because I didn't really knew what was in his mind there was this disconnect at some moments, although I was sad once things turned bad.

The book had a quick pace at moments and it was chaotic sometimes because of all the action that was happening and for all the bad things the characters had to deal with. That ending as even more 'WOW' and unexpected. And thankfully I could immediately go read the second book and see if I could find some new information about Cassie and Khasaar, while meeting new characters and learning more about the world. Overall, I loved the book because it was different and it was surprising, full of twists and turns, with some unique characters and since it's a sci-fi romance, there is that sense of otherworldly and possibility.

Sometimes things were a little rushed and I didn't think there was enough development of the first two races that Earth interacted with. There was more development with the third race Cassie came in contact with and that had a lot to do with the amount of time that she spent there.

Cassie's psychic ability gave more insight into the hero's main rival that elevated him from a flat villain to something more complex. The scientifically manipu There was plenty of action and an interesting storyline. The scientifically manipulated chief was a developed character as well. Khazaar, in some ways, wasn't as developed as the others but wasn't flat. Cassie fell in love a little bit too quickly; going from not really liking him and looking at other options for to be her mate to thinking he was the love of her life without there being enough foundation for the idea of "soul mates" to explain their connection.

I liked that Cassie took charge of her fate. She was stuck being one of the women given to an alien race as payment for saving Earth but she tried to make the best of it by talking to some of the males and encouraging others so they weren't stuck with whoever just pointed at them. She didn't close herself off to attraction to other males even if she was in love with someone else.

In reality, being in love doesn't end all attractions with other people or beings in this case.

If she was going to be forced to have sex with someone she really didn't like why not try to make it as pleasant as possible. Though I thought the attraction was presented a little too strongly with the genetically-altered chief when she didn't like him. The synopsis of the book is a bit misleading. Cassie didn't run to Khazaar for protection all the time. They needed each other and other people to survive as well as escape from captivity.

Cassie is a part of the bargain that the President made with the Qua' Hathri, a race of Warriors who promise to get rid of the species that has taken over Earth. They need women genetically compatable with their own people. Cassie is one of other women.

Not volunteering for this "mission " , Cassie is reluctant to go through with this -and who could blame her??? Of Course , once she makes her feelings known , she expects to be reprimanded. But Khazzar calmly tells her that she may go He has no need to be with a woman that doesn't want to be there.

That only makes Cassie wonder if he is even attracted to her. When she finds out that He is The adventure just shoots off like a cannon, as they go from one situation, directly into another. Cassie has an ability that many would want to be able to control. But will her and her beloved be able to traverse the slippery slope that they find themselves in??? I am on to the next installment, as this series continues!!

The adventure, thrill, fear, excitement, and suspense had me reading faster and faster just to find what happens next with Resa. Very good read and can not wait until the next one! Suspense, and action, and introducing one hot Alien and a sexy human woman. I loved The Captive written by the talented author Jenny Foster. She was a captive. Lord Khazaar instantly was attracted to Cassie from the line-up. He needs a strong human woman to continue his lineage. I loved The Captive from the first page to the last. She does what she has to in order to survive. This whole story is a double edge sword in all aspects of the story and never a dull moment either. I want more so bad. This is the first book I have ever read by Jenny Foster but this has sealed it for me to read more of her books. Cassie is given over to an Alien along with many other women cause they saved earth from another alien race causing nothing but hurt, then Cassie falls in love but before I have to admire Cassie's strength in all of this.
