I dont think there us anything unfair in charging less for the lical population. I expect a similar treatment from my country for our nTional attractions. So please book your entry ticket in advanced.

And self-guided tours enable visitors to spend time where their interest lies. The Paradise Center is the only publically owned space equipped for the arts, both visual and performing, in Sanders County. The Center offers spaces for classes, exhibits, and performances. The Sanders County Arts Council sponsors many of these arts-related events. The former Paradise School is remembered in an historic classroom. As this exhibit develops, additional materials will be rotated and on display for a time. This exhibit, rather than depicting a single era, will be the classroom through time to highlight the year legacy of the school.
The history of Paradise and the Paradise School are inextricably linked to the Northern Pacific Railroad and its decision to make the area now called Paradise its division point on its Northern Line. This exhibit, part of the historic classroom, will feature a 28 foot long working HO-gauge train that operates on a replica of the rail lines as they were in the early s.
Part of the exhibit are to-scale models of the roundhouse, the railroad tie plant, and other structures that were part of the history of Paradise. The exhibit will include interpretive signage and a separate child-sized train for play. Each of the 13 buildings has a hinged roof that opens the building so visitors can see the amazing details inside. This town is representative of most towns of the old West. Soon-to-be-added interpretative signage will compare this town to what existed in Paradise and surrounding communities in their heydays.
Paradise Center for the Arts
Glacial Lake Missoula is the main feature of natural history in northwest Montana. Between 15, and 13, years ago, the lake held cubic miles of water at its highest, reaching feet above sea level in Missoula, Montana and feet above the ground in Paradise. The lake was caused by an ice dam at the Montana — Idaho border. This three-dimensional model of Northwestern Montana features a representation of the lake at its highest and highlights remaining features from the lake that visitors can see today.
The Visual Arts use three spaces. An adjoining room has tables for up to 12 people to do other types of art work, including drawing, watercolor painting, and more.
East Hampton: A 19th-Century Artists' Paradise
The visual arts events at The Paradise Center, which span from exhibits to group painting sessions to variety of classes, are generally sponsored by the Sanders County Arts Council. These events take pace in the multipurpose room and on the third floor of the historic school building.
The fifth annual Artists in Paradise is scheduled for July , attracting 13 to 15 visual artists and 8 to 10 musicians. This event draws approximately visitors annually. Local artists teach both introductory classes as well as classes for practicing artists. Classes include drawing, painting, printmaking — and will soon include ceramics. Local painters and photographers have dedicated a wall in the old school to their artistic interpretations of the historic building. Local and invited performers participate in events at The Paradise Center.
