I love discovering an author either new or new-to-me who I can obsess over while looking for more written by them. I have to admit, reading the blurb about this book conjured images of food and sex - Anthologies hold such highs and lows for me.

That isn't to say that the stories weren't good - I don't think I read a story in the bunch that I didn't like. But the flavor was heavily spiced with romance, not erotica.

But just like in a Thai restaurant where you order with a number letting them know how hot you want things, what may be a 3 to one person could be a 5 to another. I think I would have been much more content if the word 'erotic' hadn't been in the tag line.
