The Big Book of Virginia Ghost Stories (Big Book of Ghost Stories)
It was the first ever filmed and televised by NBC in A young couple purchases a building that was built and occupied by a single family that refused to relinquish their hold, even after death. Investigated and verified by experts, this residence brought chaos to the lives of those who chose to reside there. Unlike a horror novel, this chronicles what a real ghostly experience would resemble.
Long before the laws of disclosure, a young couple winds up in the midst of strange occurrences prior to the term paranormal becoming a common description. The Afterlife of Billy Fingers: While trying to figure out what to do with her life, her brother Billy died unexpectedly. The Light Between Us: Lessons for the Living. Laura Lynne Jackson is a wife, a mother, a high school English teacher—and a psychic medium.
Where most believe an impenetrable wall divides the world between the living and the dead, Jackson sees bright, brilliant cords of light that pass through a barrier as thin as a sheet of paper. Her gifts tested and verified by some of the most prominent scientific organizations studying paranormal phenomena, Jackson has dedicated her life to exploring our connection to the Other Side, conversing with departed loved ones, and helping people come to terms with loss.
Jackson is just a child when she first realizes she is different from her peers. She has tremendous empathy and often finds herself overcome by the emotions of those around her.

The addition of the history of each location is nice though. Scary Scary Scary, but this book is fun to read. Excellent book, contains a lot of History, for History Buffs like myself. A real page Turner. Rosemary Ellen Guiley books are based on interviews and fieldwork coupled with a thorough review of secondary sources. This is one of her best. As a resident of the state for the past seven years, I have had the opportunity to travel to most of the areas described.

I have witnessed interesting phenomena in several of these locations. A great strength of the book is its diversity. There are stories of murder and intrigue, residual hauntings, the hauntings of universities and theatres around the state, physical phenomena, and plenty of contextual history for each area. The popular destination town of Berkeley Springs is also featured. Its Gothic design really makes an impression. Please review your cart.
