As a total newbie to affirmations, this was a good introduction, though it could have been a bit more in-depth about why it works, how it works, and how to create your own. This is as bare bones as it gets, which could be right for most newbies. Similarly, I'd have placed the 6 tips or most of them in the front of the book rather than after the affirmations. When I read the sample affirmations, I wasn't sure what I should be looking for to decide which ones might be useful to me.

As a tip, it was very easy with the Kindle edition to highlight the affirmations that resonated with me and then be able to review them in the bookmarks section without having to go back through the whole book.

The book is so short and since the affirmations are almost all in the front of the book , that they didn't get lost in my other highlights. It makes it very easy to review the ones you like in one shot. One person found this helpful.
