Olivers Tree

The result is a jolly book that has a fast pace and a cheery personality. They have a friendly quality that children will immediately respond to as well as a sweet humor that is cheerful.

Appropriate for ages May 25, Kristen rated it it was amazing Shelves: I really enjoyed this book. It's a story about 3 friends who like to play hide and seek together. But Oliver is an Elephant so he can't climb trees like his friends.

So the friends set out to find a tree that Oliver can play in too. After many failed attempts, Oliver gets discouraged.

His friends have an idea and while he's napping, they create a special place just for Oliver. Now they can all play together. It was so cute. I really liked seeing how Oliver's friends wanted to help him and came up I really enjoyed this book. I really liked seeing how Oliver's friends wanted to help him and came up with a pretty cool idea to include Oliver.

I even liked the art style of the illustrations. The softer color palette is great for a bedtime book, and the story isn't too energetic. I even liked the almost "sketch-like" quality of the images and how several of the images would span over both pages.

I really enjoyed this story and I'm so happy that we picked it up from the library. I will keep my eye out for this one to add to our own bookshelf. May 04, Nancy rated it really liked it. Lulu and Charlie help Oliver, a baby elephant, to search out a tree that is just right for him.

Eventually, he falls asleep on a large tree stump and the two friends build a tree house around him.

Good problem solving skills to make a friend feel better and included and they all have a lot of fun in their new treehouse!
