Especially when only seeing 1 on 1, as we want to get trust going. An that's so I can get them to whatever the next level for them is and learn the proper way to use a wooden bat if necessary or even how to catch up faster pitching etc. I was on scholarship at Our Lady of Good Counsel also. So I was working already an blessed early. Also I did not want to go far from DC.
So going to play in VA Beach was great. Now my coaching exp. All levels I have coached! I am talking about an youth leagues as a Volunteer, H. S and Springbrook H. S in Silver Spring,Maryland. As well as these 1 on 1 session's or small group's of players an then talented college players. I mainly try and see how you are one on one!!
Now while in PA, for only 2 years I took advantage of reduced tuition if I helped coach. This is when I went back to finish school, to get my teaching certificate for Elem. An then the drills and the drive to get it done really at all levels!! Our Rival in all sports was a school by the name of DeMatha out P. As it was the toughest team tomake or be asked to be on by far. Played half season JV then moved up Freshman year. Jonathan is very dedicated and works very hard. I still have all the sheet's if anyone would like to see!!!!!

New Beginnings: Scott Illiano Named New WH Baseball Coach – The Patriot Press
He has an exceptional arm and tracks the ball very well. He has above average speed, above average power. And routinely makes good contact. Played 1 season and then left for Charleston,SC. Coach at that time then! Charleston Braves after that! TheImportance of the Game. I incorporate some of my former teaching training from teaching special need students so patience I have. As a lot of players don't even know how to warm up or stretch properly. This is why I teach this also so no injuries, as at Coachup we are covered. I'm thinking long term. As I have seen a ton of great players hurt themselves in college etc by not doing the simple fundamental stuff the proper way FYI.
My Normal routine as baseball in a 1 on 1 situation is this as baseball is a game of repetition! I mean from remembering your stance to checklist I usually try to install into their heads, this is so when their up to bat they are not thinking about their swing and stance as it just becomes NATURAL. As simply put like I stated earlier basically sound fundamental baseball that's what I teach as soon as we cross the white lines. I was a leadoff hitter almost every year, so I had to patient and be able to hit anything as well as run bases perfectly read the pitcher's motion etc.
As I had the pop off my bat and natural speed! Also when needed if coach needed to take me from centerfield to play 3rd base, yes sir coach or shortstop NP! So I have a ton of fielding and hitting drills. So we can make the best use of our time Also help Dads work with say there own team or son's team get that a lot I say travel coaches great investment or Rec.
Another thing as a teacher of kids in school or on field teaching growing men how to grow the right way.
The coach of the winning team did everything he could to stop the bleeding
My goal is always the same as I just look to take you to whatever level you want to get too!! As I'm working to benefit you!! Looking forward to meeting you!

The pop is back in his swing and now can spray the baseball as he was taught how to be a very select hitter! That's why I actually booked a 21 Pkg. This was great, He's one of the best instructors on hitting and how he relates to the youth!
As we plan to continue on using him as long as he's willing. But instead of telling my son to gut it out, I figured I'd show him how, by finding guys who had similarly gotten cut or barely played in high school, yet eventually made their way onto Major League starting lineups. Rays All-Star Chris Archer still remembers the fateful day coaches handed out letters to the kids trying out for his Clayton, N.
You just don't feel like playing again. There was going to be no way I'd make the varsity team. I basically decided that baseball wasn't going to be my thing, and I should move on. Buehrle tosses seven frames for his 10th win. Rejection is a fact of life, though, something any young player will face at one point. It's just that, according to Cy Young Award winner Orel Hershiser, high school athletes are at an age when they are most invested in baseball and the least able to process failure.
High school baseball game ends with a score of 82-0, even though the winning coach tried to stop it
They only see, 'I'm embarrassed now because I'm not a starter. In those formative years, sports revolve more around the size of a player's body than the size of his heart. Rays outfielder Daniel Nava , for instance, stood 4-foot as a freshman, and he remembers feeling "so overmatched.
Nava's coach even used a designated hitter in his place on the rare occasions that he was in the lineup. It's hard to fathom now, but Buehrle, too, was rail-thin and barely 5 feet tall when he tried out for his high school squad. For this reason, Hershiser cautions young athletes against believing everything their coaches say. Nava's solo homer is his first with Rays. That's why, for the guys who made it, there was ultimately just one person's opinion that counted: Bill Bavasi, director of MLB's Scouting Bureau, judged plenty of talent during his time as general manager for the Angels and the Mariners He learned early on that judging a player by his high school performance makes about as much sense as choosing a spouse based on what grade he or she received on an 11th grade geometry quiz.
Sitting in the office next door to me right now is a guy who drafted two pitchers: That's why any young guy who likes the game should keep at it after high school. Find the right Division III school or junior college, some place that'll give you a try. Archer took such advice to heart, utilizing failure in middle school to fuel his efforts.
