Le Divamour (French Edition)
I'm not a fan of the face as a whole and the shoes needs more work shading and shape. I absolutely love this, especially the fact that the dolls in the background are not exact copies of the original one and you made a long version of the dress as well!! I think the hair is missing something but that is pretty much my only critique.
- The Cost Of Silence!
- Divamour : Divamour lingerie - Lingerie féminine de luxe.
- Little Physio Deutsch - Türkisch (German Edition)!
- The Taming of Annabelle (The Six Sisters series Book 2).
- The Doll Show.

My favourite entry concept-wise. The shading on the top is perfectttt. I can't believe how much you have improved over time! Originally Posted by Melissax. I think generally the shading could be a tiny bit darker or a little bit less smudgy just to give it a little more definition all over. Love the hair and headpiece - they're fabulous!! But yeah, just a little bit more to the shading to give it that impact mostly down the sides of the top would look wicked. Really like that you went with the little pants and a huge skirt down the back since it's totally different to everyone else's entries. Again, I adore the hair and the headpiece, I couldn't criticise that at all, it's perf. I don't see the rococco in this outfit at all It almost feels Grecian mixed with modern with the draped skirt.
I would have loved to have seen more popping or more obvious colours in this as well. Really like her hair though, that's great, and I love the detail in her top. Your shading looks like it's improved laods already especially in the skirt-section and in her top, but I think the shading on the pants is a little bit too smudged out.
Great improvement from round 1, but I would have loved to have seen more rococo in there. I adore the colours in this outfit! Her shooooooeeees, are amazing! What killer platforms they are and with the ruffle socks ahhh! Love the little bird-cage, that's super cute and gives the whole look a little quirky twist.
Love the colours, the detail in the top section, love the shape of the skirt and of course the shoes. The only thing that bugs me a little is the shading on the skirt, I don't understand it.. It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart, and most importantly, a beautiful soul. Last edited by divaesque; at With Victoria's secret collection, we can choose anything and make a theme about it.
Like provocative inside but angel outside. Undergarments, back, shoes, body, headwear, prop garter ,gloves. Hair by kokobunny, face by kittypimms. This was my first attempt, and going to be practicing it more because it was so much fun! Undergarments, leggings, shoes, back wings , bracelet, headwear sparkly feather by the ear , prop halo , hair, face and body.
This was soooooooooo hard, especially with just one week I am a slowwww designer y'all I restarted it a few times and struggled with which way I wanted to go. When you think lingerie, frilly, girly, lacy comes to mind I think she's fun, flirty and sexy! Although looking a little more like Frederick's of Hollywood than Victoria's Secret, overall, I am pretty happy with her I swear I put pupils in this time, but yeah Body, hair, face, hat, feather wings, undergarment, skirt, leggings, shoes and prop rose. Everything seen made by me.
This is my small tribute to Danaerys Targaryen. The top part of the undergarment is inspired in Dany's wedding dress in the first season of the TV show, and for the rest of the outfit I took inspiration from the books. The colours of the house Targaryen are red and black, but I preferred to use a dark blue to add a bit more of contrast; their coat of arms is a three headed dragon, hence the dragon wings and the scales.
The bells in her hair are a symbol of victory, a tradition of Dothraki culture. I adore this character, her strenght, her intelligence in most cases lol , her courage, her elegance I've tried to capture all those features in this entry, and I can only hope I've succeeded at that. Face by griffysgirl and hair by adna not included.
Please do not post your entries for the final phase until total of scores has been posted. The body is a bit big for this head, the shading is pretty off at some places abdomen, armpit, lingerie botto m. Other than that, I like it. This is so pretty! I can't believe that this is your first body and that you're using a mouse.
I just don't think that this is the most enticing pose ever. This time I see what happened to the pupils, lol. The hair is a little weird and the top part of the body is a bit off the chest and the right hand The body is a tad small for the head and the shadows are darker than they should be on some places, she is missing a belly button I'm not a fan of the colour combination. But I definitely see improvement! Ballard 's novel The Burning World , expanded into The Drought in , pollution in the oceans creates a surface layer that resists evaporation, bringing about a worldwide drought.
John Brunner 's novel The Sheep Look Up describes an environmentally-degraded world rapidly collapsing into social chaos, revolution, and anarchy. Richard Cowper 's three-volume novel The White Bird of Kinship —82 envisions a future in which anthropogenic global warming has led to a catastrophic rise in sea level. Most of it takes place two millennia later. Le Guin 's novel Always Coming Home takes place long after worldwide disasters—apparently largely environmental though nuclear war may also be involved—have drastically reduced the population.
It paints an admiring picture of a primitive society that will not repeat the mistakes of civilization. In Octavia Butler 's novel Parable of the Sower , climate change and corporatism are the human-caused reasons for societal collapse. In the film The Day After Tomorrow , based on Whitley Strieber 's speculative non-fiction novel The Coming Global Superstorm , extreme weather events caused by climate change invoke mass destruction across the planet, and eventually result in a new ice age.
The video game The Long Dark depicts survival in the wilderness of northern Canada during winter after a geomagnetic disaster has disabled all modern technology. Forster 's novelette " The Machine Stops " , humanity has been forced underground due to inhospitable conditions on Earth's surface, and is entirely dependent on "the machine," a god-like mechanical entity which has supplanted almost all free will by providing for humankind's every whim.
The machine deteriorates and eventually stops, ending the lives of all those dependent upon it, though one of the dying alludes to a group of humans dwelling on the surface who will carry the torch of humanity into the future. Fred Saberhagen goes one better than Barjavelin with the Empire of the East series which starts, in the book The Broken Lands , sometime after the "Change" with sincere nods from Boyett and Stirling , in which a defense designed to temporarily make nukes inoperative, permanently changes some of the laws of science for magic.
Steve Boyett 's novel Ariel , sub-titled "A Book of the Change" also has all technology—including electricity, gunpowder, and some physics principles—ceasing to function, while magic becomes real. He also contributed to the Borderland series , which investigates a return of the Realm of Faery to the world.
The Quiet Earth , a New Zealand movie notable for its visually stunning ending, follows a scientist's descent into madness after he wakes up to a world where every single member of the kingdom Animalia has seemingly disappeared. After recovering and finding other people he realizes his experiments with energy transfers through the Earth's magnetic field are to blame, and that unless he shuts down the experiment, it will destroy the planet.
Stirling also takes a swipe at the inconstant-physical-constants field with the Emberverse series. Dies the Fire , The Protector's War , and A Meeting at Corvallis , depict the world's descent into feudalism after a sudden mysterious "change" alters physical laws so that electricity , gunpowder , and most forms of high-energy-density technology no longer work. Civilization collapses, and two competing groups struggle to re-create medieval technologies and skills, as well as master magic.
Like Boyett's novel, Stirling's features Society for Creative Anachronism members as favorably disposed survivors, and a hang-glider attack against a building. NBC's Revolution — also revolved around a "change" after which the principles of electricity and physics are inoperable. However, the focus of the story was how a group of protagonists tried to get the power back on while opposing the efforts of a tyrannical militia leader to understand it first so that he can take absolute power.
The Digital Series depicts in part, the aftermath of a world in which a computer virus that infected a popular brain-computer interface killed one-third of the population, leading to a breakdown in order and the lack or shortage of electricity and other modern conveniences. All Systems Down is an American novel which describes a cyber war that cripples Western infrastructure, resulting in the collapse of society.
Other works use Ray Kurzweil 's idea of the technological singularity , the creation of a sentient machine using artificial intelligence , as the starting point for an apocalypse.

The film Mad Max , directed by George Miller , presents a world in which oil resources have been nearly exhausted. This has resulted in constant energy shortages and a breakdown of law and order. The police do battle with criminal motorcycle gangs, with the end result being the complete breakdown of modern society and nuclear war as depicted in Mad Max 2 The opening narration of Mad Max 2 implies that the fuel shortage was caused not just by peak oil, but also by oil reserves being destroyed during a large scale conflict in the Middle East.
The remnants of society survive either through scavenging, or in one notable case, as depicted in the third sequel Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome , by using methane derived from pig feces. The backstory of the video game series Fallout revolves around the so-called "Resource Wars", beginning circa , when oil supplies become depleted, leading to a disastrous series of wars that include Europe going to war with the Middle East before disintegrating into warring nation-states after all available oil is used up, the United Nations collapsing, the U.
