Just 2 Choices: Its That Simple
Fill in your question and options in the edit view. You can add up to ten options, but after this it can be difficult for your audience to see the results. After you have added the options, you can choose if you want to show the results in percentage or in exact number of votes. You can also allow the audience to vote on more than one option, and decide the maximum number of options.
This is commonly known as checkboxes in surveys. As you may already know, you can choose whether to show the result as percentage or numbers in the edit view. You can also switch between percentage and numbers by clicking on the charts in the presentation view. If you have several Multiple Choice questions in your presentation, you can use segmentation to present the results according to what the participants voted for on another question.
With the Image Choice question type, you can upload images as answer options.

Create the question, add options and upload images by pressing the image icon next to your option. Word Cloud, also known as wordle, is one of our most popular question types. Participants can input words to create a Word Cloud that will grow and expand as the audience submit their input. The Word Cloud is good to use when you do not already know what participants will vote for, and you want to emphasize the most popular words. It will look best when the answers are expected to be short - no more than a few words. To create a Word Cloud, you simply enter the question and define the maximum amount of entries the audience may submit.
Two words separated by a space still counts as one entry. If you are anticipating problems with people submitting improper words, we recommend you to use the profanity filter. This is how it looks when you get a vote in the Word Cloud. As you get more votes, the most popular words will get bigger and bigger. The quiz is a special question type, since it is made for the participants to compete with each other. Participants can choose between multiple options that you provide, and you mark which option is the correct one. At the end of the quiz, the winner is revealed.
The quiz is great to use when you want to create a fun, learning-intense and energetic competition, and define the correct answer s. When you create a quiz question, it is very similar to Multiple Choice. You enter your question and options. The main difference is that you pick the option s to be shown as the correct answer. Please note that you are free to mark as many options as you would like to be the correct answer, but the audience can still only pick one.
Decide how much time to allocate for answering the question, and then you are good to go. One person needs to be connected to the presentation in order for you to start the quiz. As soon as the countdown has run out, or everyone has voted, the results and the correct answer will be shown. The audience can also see whether they have answered correctly on their phones. You can show the leaderboard in between questions, and the final winner at the end of your quiz.
With the Scales question type, participants can rate statements on a scale. Let the audience answer several questions with the same scale! When you create a Scales question, you enter a heading and then the statements to rate. You can change the low and high value of the scale to change the range, for example or You can also choose to name the low and high labels if you want them to represent something that is not numeric.
When you get a vote, it will slide from left to right corresponding to how the participant answered. You will also see the distribution of votes as a graph just above the specific lines. With more votes, the number in the circle will show the weighted average of all the votes. If you want to see the exact distribution of votes, you can move your mouse cursor over the lines.
With the Open Ended question type, the participants type in their answers freely. This question type is good to use when you do not already know what the participants will answer, and you want to enable them to write whole sentences max characters. You can also use this question to collect emails or other information to identify the voters, or to let the audience send in their own questions to the speaker. Let the participants have a bit more time to enter their statement! To create an Open Ended question, all you need to do is to enter the question.
You can choose what layout you want to have on your presentation: Speech bubbles, One by one or Flowing grid. To avoid improper answers, you can use the profanity filter. If you want to let the audience submit several responses, for instance, if they have multiple questions or ideas, you can allow them to vote more than once from the same device. You can choose whether you want to let the audience ask questions at any time during the presentation or only on certain slides. The default setting is to allow the audience to see and upvote on each other's questions, but you can also choose to turn it off.
Once you have answered a question, you can mark it as answered to remove it from the list, and the next one will be shown! This question type is also known as the dollar method. The points question type lets participants distribute points to prioritize different items. The rating is shown in percentage, with the most popular choice on top. This question type is good to use when you already know what items you want the participants to prioritize, and you want to allow them to express their opinions in detail. It also forces the audience to determine what items are the most important, since they are distributing a limited amount of points.

The items will rearrange themselves according to the number of points received. The 2 by 2 Matrix is similar to the Scales question type, except that participants rate each item in two dimensions instead of one. The results are then displayed as a weighted average in a 2 by 2 matrix. Use this when you want the participants to rate something along two axes. To create the 2 by 2 Matrix, enter the question and the items that you want the audience to rate. You can choose to name the vertical and horizontal axes, select the range and also add a label to the low and high values. You can change the grid layout, or background, of your matrix to put the results in a context.

This works as a graphical representation of the vote distributions. This question is useful when you want to make a playful voting and only determine the winner s. If there is a tie, there will be more than one winner, but there are never any losers with this question type.
