Deadly Obsession (Deadly series Book 3)

This has it all, a little on the light side of the sex scenes, but everything else fit the bill so it kept me enthralled. What was one of the most memorable moments of Deadly Obsession? The first time Richard takes Christian, I'm not much of a flight kinda gal so it really stirred the ole' fight response in me.

And, of course, Ian Kincaid's appearances are always memorable, but he out did himself this time. Did the narration match the pace of the story? The narration was really good. I think that her male voices could have been a bit more male which is the case with most female narrators , rare is the female that can do sexy, gravelly, sultry, angry, and gruff male voices.

That said, I believe the narrator does a great job with Jock Kincaid. If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be? Boy, not sure at all. This series is the only Jaycee Clark I have ever heard or read and am hooked. Audible needs to get going on the rest in the series. I am waiting for Ian's story and I am assuming I'll have to go through the other more obvious Kincaid men.

I am totally captivated by this author and a fan of this series! There is romance, suspense, humor. The way in which the story unfolds I cannot stop listening! On to book 4! Started this book 2 even though I hadn't read book 1 and it didn't matter. Great story from the get go. Can't wait to read 1.

As with the other two series, this one was not a dissapointment either, I listened to them in session and was never bored, It's a family book and just a very good series, I suggest you start with the first one and be sure to get all 4 in the series. When Christian goes from an abused child, frightened runaway teenager to a now stalked and abused woman it blows her once happy life apart and makes for a very nail biting listen. As you immerse yourself in these character's lives, through the dramas, turmoil and enduring love you will have been entertained but it'll also leave you emotionally drained.

Brayden and Christian spend a blissful night together but in the morning he is in denial about his feelings however everything changes when Christian is viscously attacked and nearly raped by a mystery man. He knows she's hiding secrets but he could never imagine how dark and devastating they would be but fear is making her unwilling to share as she is desperately trying to protect the family she has grown to love.

There's a lot of tenderness and some sexy and touching scenes throughout this listen and the romance was already established early on but grew and became stronger through all the traumas. This is definitely a spine chilling thriller as, once again, the Kinncaid family are there to lend their support and pick up the pieces - including the black sheep of the family brother Ian who was always in one disguise or another. I'm looking forward to book 4 Deadly Games which is Ian's story yippee and should prove very interesting.

Just when you think Jenny and Jake are gonna have A Valentine's Surprise ride into the sunset type story Melanie James is the queen of surprises and while this book is nothing like A Valentine's Surprise, I can tell you the surprise is awesome.

We get the sweet story of Jenny and Jake He's hot, she's tenacious and beautiful and they are one HELL of a couple. The sex is amazing But then,enter the 'where the HELL did this come from? The story goes from sweet and sexy to suspenseful and downright creepy. There is redemption of a damaged family relationship, a psychopathic creepy character and lots of action. I don't want to give the story away, but suffice it to say that you can't judge a book by its cover. This author can write anything and I will read it.

Until that one night… Things were heating up between with Jake and Jenny, but before they could take things too far Jake got up and walked out. He left Jenny without even looking back and without explanation. He left her broken hearted, to pick up the pieces of her own heart.

After going more into the story you find out why he really left and you will understand why. Jake knew he messed up with Jenny bad and will do anything to get another chance. Will he figure out a way to convince Jenny how much she really means to him? Will she forgive him? This psycho will do anything to hurt both of them and if hurting Jenny is a way to hurt Jake, then be it. Jake and Jenny will work together to stop this scumbag from hurting anyone again.

Will they be strong enough to stay together? Read and find out. This story is not your typical love story, there was some suspense and mystery in it. Deadly Obsession: Kinncaid Brothers Series, Book 3 (Unabridged)

It has it all! This is my first Melanie James experience, it was wonderful, and it most definitely will not be my last. Melanie James is an Amazing Author and her worlds are on fire. Well done, Miss James. I Love the way this story flows Consistently and fast paced. The world is one of coming of a Melanie James is a new author for me. The world is one of coming of age and self-discovery with a multilayered series of twisted and unexpected events that will keep you riveted to your seat.

The scenes are depicted beautifully. Just laying back and listening to them with my eyes closed brought them in loud and clear. Well developed characters, including their back stories. The narrator did an awesome job of bringing the characters to life. I am loving audio books now. I seriously doubt that I could keep them straight in my head. Jenny Jennings has been in love with Jake Matthews since her parents died but she has never acted on it because he was her brother Adam's best friend.

Jake Matthews would never date Jenny even though he was very attracted to her because she was his best friends sister. This is a hot and sensual love story mixed with action, suspense and has you sitting on the edge of your seat!! I could write so much more but don't want to give anything away. This book has a lot more hot scenes in it with some mystery with it Jenny and Jake have had feeling for each other for a while now Jenny longer than Jake, then a big problem occurs that puts Jenny right in Jakes lap.. Will Jenny and Jake be able to stay together once she finds out Jakes secrets? Will Jenny stay once the problem is found?? This book is a must read and defiantly worth the time Was worth my time.. Cannot wait to see what Melanie James has storming up for the next book of the series Nov 15, Up-in rated it it was amazing.

This book is not what I expected, but now it had me remembering to "never judge a book by its cover. Adam, Jenny's brother, also plays a role in this book.
