Moon Shadow: Pandemic Fiction / Military Thriller
I resist the urge to spend thousands of dollars on editing.
I don't have money for a cover so I feel dismay that my novel will sit on the shelf unnoticed. So now I feel tired after editing and searching for appropriate free covers. I've been working for the better part of a year on Endgame and finally am able to release it to the public. Now comes the hard part. I need reviewers folks. Not enough hours in the day if you add in all the family responsibilities. My grandson broke his leg last week when a protective mother cow trampled him when he got too close to her newborn calf. He has a cast all the way up to his hip. He is doing good now and just had a birthday with all his school mates coming.
Best day ever for my new thriller Moon Shadow. It got to in the ranking on the free ebooks list on Amazon and made it to 20 in the Thriller Genre. I also got featured today in the Top 5 Free Ebooks site. I most likely will be defriended roundly.

I have reached on my WI. Just a play on words on the title there. I do have fear of peers however, and their loathing. I take umbrage sometimes to reviewers who were not there in the fox hole with me as I spent countless hours on my novel only to dismiss my work with a snarky remark and only give it a few. I especially liked the beginning; Ridgway knows how to get you hooked fast. It's got some of that. Like to keep your dictionary close by? This review is from: Moon Shadow Kindle Edition Great read. The two main characters are trying to escape the clutches of a madman who is in charge of a quarantine in the deepest wilderness of Alaska. Mr Ridgway has an easy modern reading style and a great descriptive style that is very visual and very enticing. Sometimes being a writer can be discouraging.
We work very hard to tell a story which means a lot to us and is relevant in today's world. We want so much to tell the story but instead they sit languishing on the shelf. It is pathetic and no wonder so many talented authors are giving up and moving on to quicker ways to earn a living.

I was so excited to have two novels up for sale this year. Published ones, which means I was selected out of many other hopefuls and di. His novels are critically acclaimed and achieved a meteoric climb to hover in the top of the best seller rankings.

This book hooks you from the first page and you will not want t. At times it has a fast paced tension, horror-feel to it. The remorselessness of the killer in the beginning is haunting. The characters are well-defined and the story is continuously keeping you on edge. Ridgway's extensive knowledge of the medical profession is also on display in this novel. This is a highly recommended book. Great New Review for Moon Shadow today. Mister Ridgway has written a book that will keep you turning pages. It reminded me a little of Outbreak, with the sleazy suit and a fanatical Military officer.
I did have a little trouble getting into the book, as the first chapter took off a slow, but once I got into it, I had a hard time putting it down.

I say that Mister Ridgway has a hit on his hands. I give Moon Shadow 4 out of 5 Stars. Butcher and Blade is the working title for my next WIP. This revealed itself to me as I have been reading books Like BrainRush and some other high octane novels. Because of the danger of a potential pandemic, they are to be transferred to a more prison-like underground quarantine. Two of the residents, Trevor, a young physician, and Jodie, an Earth Project environmentalist, are not having any of this obvious violation of human rights.
They escape and are hunted down like fugitives with the full arsenal of the US Army at the Major's disposal. The two have to use a zip line to escape a three-story-burning lodge. When they seek refuge in an abandoned gold mine, the entrance is caved in by a missile strike. The two fugitives do manage to find a way out of the mine and try to make their way back to civilization and safety by floating down river on a rubber raft.
While fighting for their lives against nature and the deranged Major Pepper, the two begin to fall in love with each other. They discover they have more to live for than exposing the Major for his treachery and his murder of innocent civilians for the greater good. Moon Shadow - sounds like a lovely place. In this thriller it is, however, a place where you certainly don't want to be. An unknown virus was discovered in the small town within the heart of Alaska's wilderness and now Moon Shadow was isolated by army forces in order to keep the virus inside of the town.
Two scientists, however, managa to escape from the prison-like scene, but are then hunted by the military. The book is thrilling entertainment at its best. If it were a movie it'd certainly be a block buster. Thriller fans will love it! Thanks so much for the shout out Chris-Jean.

If you need me to read anything or help in promoting, just ask. This is my nightmare - being stuck in an isolated town when disaster strikes! The pace is good and there are enough twists to keep you going, but not overwhelm.
