Capercaillie vocalist Karen Matheson released her solo album Urram in October Accompanied by a live band Karen will perform material from Urram on the night and from her solo career which has been inspired by being brought up immersed in the deep well of traditional songs that have been her inspiration for over 30 years of recording and performing worldwide.
With the full finale line up to be announced the line up currently includes the formidable GaelicDance pipers Nuallan from Cape Breton and Sharon Shannon and her band from Ireland. Composed by local Inverness fiddler Graham Mackenzie, this exciting new work is a journey through the places that have influenced Graham and his music.
