B ased on the novel Marianne Dreams by Catherine Storr, series Escape Into Night tells the story of a young girl who, while bedridden with illness, drifts into an eerie fantasy world seemingly based on pictures she's drawn. Another illustration from a favourite book.
Haven't read Marianne Dreams for years, but this gave me goosebumps pic. Chocky, it turns out, is not imaginary at all Scared me then, scares me now. S cientist Adam Brake Gareth Thomas and his son Matthew arrive in the sleepy English village of Milbury to find it under the grip of weird psychic powers unleashed by the sinister village squire.
The titles are terrifying!
