These each had all of the elements I look for in a book of this type: I love stories where you don't care if the characters are guilty or not -- you just like them and want them to prevail. These stories are not overly graphic or violent, don't get bogged down in deeply romantic or sexual situations, and aren't overly complicated with multiple plots. Kind of the equivalent of a beach read but in a good way.
I just know that I hope the author writes more of these. That's the highest recommendation I can give. All three of the books flow smoothly from one catastrophe to the next.
The characters are drawn carefully enough and absolutely every loose end is woven in at the end. Maybe a few too many near misses for me. Certainly, however, most television shows wrap up neatly at the conclusion of each episode, and the main characters live on to fight the following week. I will look for more by this author as they were enjoyable to read. One person found this helpful.
