This challenge has now given rise to an ambitious young company called Innoplexus, based in Eschborn near Frankfurt, which has solved the problem with a great deal of mathematics and computer technology. Together with a development team in India, Gunjan Bhardwaj has developed a highly specialized search engine for the healthcare industry, a kind of super Google that tracks down professional knowledge from around the world. Innoplexus makes it possible to obtain the important information relevant for predefined applications from enormous amounts of data — and that in no time at all and not in tedious, months of manual evaluation by expensive experts.
The sophisticated search system provides valuable information not only for patients and doctors. For pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, it acts like an accelerator for research and development: And the healthcare industry is just the beginning for Innoplexus. Bhardwaj is already working on a modification of the method that will enable further applications, for example for financial service providers. The fact that Gunjan Bhardwaj founded his company, and that in Germany as well, has a lot to do with his tenacity. But also with his sceptical basic attitude as to whether it is really advisable to do what many others already do.
However, Bhardwaj pursued other travel plans: Regional peculiarities such as the famous "Kehrwoche" have often enough proved to be obstacles to integration. Gunjan Bhardwaj is quite different. There he developed into an "Indian Swabian", as he himself says.

Bhardwaj also made friends with the Swabian virtue of work. Bhardwaj took his idea of building a reliable search system for global healthcare knowledge with him to BCG. He worked there in New York in the team of Martin Reeves, a recognized expert on the healthcare system. Reeves encouraged Bhardwaj to push the project forward. His Mumbai study friend Gaurav Tripathi 35 , a computer scientist, mathematician and computer freak, became an increasingly important partner — just the right person to implement the project. The duo met several times in Mumbai or Stuttgart, wrote e-mails, exchanged information via Skype and discussed, developed, improved and refined the search algorithms.
After all, the master plan was in place. There was only one catch: This required additional capacity for pharmaceutical and medical experts, programmers and blockchain specialists. And Tripathi and Bhardwaj needed money for that. The two found a creative solution: Then they started a pilot project and sold the results in advance to a company from the pharmaceutical industry against prepayment.
For this they first had to create some conditions.

The fact that common search systems find it difficult to extract medical content from the Internet or closed databases is also due to the language of the scientists. Also at the "Factory", a "Google for Entrepreneurs" has been involved. Anyone who wants to see how such developments pushed by tech companies and start-ups can change an urban area in a very short time must look to San Francisco and the Bay Area with the Silicon Valley. On May 16th, we want to talk to different players from politics and neighborhood initiatives in the SO36 about what can be done so that Kreuzberg and Berlin do not have to go the same way as San Francisco or parts of central London, where poor and ordinary people have already been forced out of their neighborhoods.

The digital restructuring of domination precludes our desire for freedom and a self-determined life. That's why we want to focus on the individual, social and emotional impact of everyday use of new digital technologies eg smartphones, apps, etc. How can games-like methods gamification fool you into making everyday life easier and at the same time let self-thinking, craft and social skills stunt?
How important are the real non-virtual experiences for our lives, for our feelings and our experiences? How alienated are personal feelings, dreams and experiences that are minutely portrayed in digital life - or how does emotional pornography work? As a counter concept a hackerdidactic is presented. This concept is for digital self-defense. It should not be about an application of technology, but rather about exposing our personal behaviors. Our approach begins with our own vulnerability and the emotions involved.
So how do we encounter the degeneration of our thinking, our feelings and our self-determined life?

Therefore, in this workshop, we want to look at the individual, social and emotional implications of the everyday use of new digital technologies. Who does not like to play? Playing is fun, playing gives us a break from everyday life. But is our everyday life a game? Why do we need time off, why in the digital and not in the real world?
Skills will be acquired in the workshop to recognize repetitive, addictive, game-like schemes in everyday digital life. Using practical examples, we will above all analyze hidden game-like offers in the social networks of Facebook, Google and other apps and their alleged relief. We'll briefly introduce you to the history of video games and go into more detail about the human brain or the human being as a cognitive entity: One goal is to experiment with ways to more clearly recognize the increasingly encompassing digital domain in order to better escape or attack them.
This workshop will be hold in english and translated into german! Bring your toys or games! Wer mag nicht spielen? Jedoch ist unser Alltag ein Spiel?

The neighborhoods close to them soon experienced their impacts. In London for example commercial rents doubled within the first two years. However, we do not just critisize that gentrification is boosted by tech-companies like Google. As one of the biggest companies in the world, it also plays an important role for the technological attack. Its main task is collecting and selling data.
