We also offer custom wall scrolls in small, medium, and an even-larger jumbo size. Professional calligraphers are getting to be hard to find these days. Instead of drawing characters by hand, the new generation in China merely type roman letters into their computer keyboards and pick the character that they want from a list that pops up.
There is some fear that true Chinese calligraphy may become a lost art in the coming years. Many art institutes in China are now promoting calligraphy programs in hopes of keeping this unique form of art alive. Even with the teachings of a top-ranked calligrapher in China, my calligraphy will never be good enough to sell.

I will leave that to the experts. The same calligrapher who gave me those lessons also attracted a crowd of thousands and a TV crew as he created characters over 6-feet high. He happens to be ranked as one of the top calligraphers in all of China. He is also one of very few that would actually attempt such a feat. Sword of Death
Those who know what to expect, "enjoy" If I had to sum this album up in one word I would call it chaos. That is what this is. If you are expecting cool guitar riffs or great melody then you are oh so very wrong. There is nothing of the sort on here. If you have listened to Abruptum or Stalaggh then that should give you some idea of what to expect. Emit however takes these 2 bands to the max and enters that unexplored territory of the next level.
If you struggled listening to Abruptum or Stallagh that is nothing compared to what you will have to go through for this release.
I actually could not manage to listen to this album in one trip as about halfway through I got a severe headache. I took a couple of aspirins and had to listen to some nice mellow Beseech and Dark Sanctuary for about 30minutes just to sanitize myself. Emit does a lot of experimentation here adding many weird elements such as opera singing, and abrupt changes in the volume. This all adds to the very chaotic atmosphere.
For the production of this album Emit took everything he created and put it into a blender and put it on full speed for about 5minutes. He then took the mix out and added some screaming on top and voila we have the final product.

What we have here is some very heavy sludge with some extremely bone chilling shrieks. The guitars are very heavily down tuned. They play very random notes that do not create any rhythm whatsoever. Only on a few occasions does Emit begin to create a rhythm but then the screams come in and totally blow the rhythm into oblivion, so back to chaos again.
The vocals range from talking that has been modified to a very heavy level of distortion to those bone chilling shrieks. At times the instruments will be fairly quiet and then the vocals will come in at full pitch and blow your ears out. Sometimes everything will be all fairly quiet and then out of nowhere those shrieks will hit you and blow your ears out.

My major downside to this album is the way in which everything just feels too tinkered with by computers. This is especially the case with the vocals. The distortion of all the instruments just feels too computerised as well. This gives a kind of electronic feel about this album as a whole which is a big no no for me.
