She was very helpful and took care of making all the arrangements for the rest of our stay. We had trips planned for visiting temples, a cookery school, a zip line adventure, a spa trip Aye knew all the best places and gave us a discount over the quoted prices on top of it all! On our last day when we did the zip line adventure, we had checked out of our hotel and needed a place for our luggage. She offered to hold our luggage while we did the tour. When we came back, they got us transport to the airport. Aye and Top Thailand took very good care of us and we had a wonderful visit to Chiang Mai because of her.
I recommend her without reservation.

Thanks for sharing this adventure with us. What a beautiful recounting of an amazing visit. You mentioned that your suitcase was huge — can I hitch a ride inside next time you go? Why certainly, you surely can! You are so kind; and I am very lucky indeed. I hope the summer includes good times and adventures for you. Thank you, Robin; how kind.
I was indeed inspired and look forward to sharing recipes and pictures and such, here and everywhere. My name is First who telephoned you the last night. My mother told me a lot of stories about you that showed how lovely you are. You took several times for rural students who is rarely chance to get the education. So I proud of you very much…. How wonderful to hear from you, Khun Awirut. I enjoyed our telephone conversation so much. Your kind words here make me very happy. Your mother is a precious and amazing person.
I am so proud of her for all that she has done, and the vital, precious work she does every day as an educator. What a lovely thing to say. That is how it felt. One dream I have: Likewise, I love to show you Southern Thailand but it is hard to find water buffalo for us to ride. Not necessary to repeat old delights — abundant new delights to be discovered in your wonderful company! And you need to visit North Carolina for some Southern food and fun. I have never been to North Carolina, thank you.
It is now on list, a place to visit! So nice to touch base with your travels, Nancie! I can only imagine how meaningful it was for you. The photos make my mouth water. Hope the rest of summer is as eventful! The heat did not wilt me!
My Thailand Adventure, July - Nancie's Table
I trust your summer is tasty and fun…wish we were neighbors, I could use an sit-dow visit! Oh Nancie, this is beautiful! I have tears in my eyes which is nuts because I have never been to Thailand nor do I know these people but your words are full of emotion and love and it oozes out of the post.

It looks like it was truly a phenomenal visit and I am so happy you got to do it, not only go back but see old friends, colleagues and students!! I am travelling to Thatum, Surin next week to teach english at the Banthasila school. Any suggestions of fun things to do? Be sure to eat at Thatum Pochana Restaurant, and visit the temple, and walk along the Mun River, and pat yourself on the back for deciding to travel to a very good place, full of good people in a good land.
How long will you stay there, and what grade will you be teaching? Bon voyage, and please let me know if you plan to blog or post about your journey in some way that I could follow.
