After a roadtrip to Spain and Portugal, we decided to look for a place to stay on our way back to Belgium. Because my wife and I don't like the unpersonal Formula1-hotel or Ibis Budget-hotel, we were looking for a more authentic place. The dreams of Burgundy, and the name actually covers it all. The hosts were awaiting us as we drove op the parking place, and we had the warmest welcome possible. We had a tour in the beautiful renovated house, my wife and I were simply stunned by the details in the renovation, absolutely beautiful.

After a refreshing shower we were invited to the table for dinner. The chef really knows how to surprise his guests, the meal was far beyond dreams, real star quality. Also we got to know the other guests, and we shared some very good wine from the Macon region. After a great night in a superb room, we were invited for the breakfast. Again, I could go on and on about the quality, but please go and find out. This place is a real hidden gem for people who love wellness, great food and an amical atmosphere. The diner was great! Most of it was all home Made, even the nice yoghurt in the morning.

The bed was good, the room was nice and clean and the facilities super. Liked the pooltable and the jacuzzi. I highly recommend staying at Les Reves. The evening dinner was amazing and as good as you will get in any top restaurant beetroot sorbet is to die for. The whole place is very fresh and beautifully decorated and the spa room with jacuzzi etc was very welcoming after a long drive. Great hospitality we experienced after a long drive. High quality room and an excellent meal and breakfast in a friendly environment. A perfect stay with only a small remark about the strictness for obeying the houserules, although in themselves these were reasonable.

We certainly plan to go back to experience this high level of hospitality again. The house is tastefully decorated, located in a cute village and very clean. Same for the room we got, tastefully decorated and very clean. Owners are very nice and welcoming. And the dinner was very good. Same for the breakfast which was copious and tasty. On est dans l'excellence: Jose a fantastic chef - you must book the evening meal. All together a brilliant pick. We are starting to consider next year's trip and have already thought we will book again.
