On the one hand, there's Maddie, who may be older, but isn't confident that Chase really wants her and her daughter in his life.

On the other hand, there's Chase, who may be younger, but has every confidence that Maddie and her daughter can make him very happy. In fact, he has confidence enough for both of them. Unfortunately, road blocks ensue, but because of them, you get an even better sense of the kind of man Chase is. I really appreciated how he still kept reaching out to Maddie's daughter, even when Maddie herself herself off. Just a side note about Maddie, while I understood her reasons for making the decision she did, I wish that her character had a bit more backbone. Eventually, with help from friends and family, this couple found their way back together and it was a happy ending.

Overall, this was a good book that I enjoyed reading and I look forward to reading this author's next book, The Ace. Full review available at Romantic Reads and Such on wordpress. Though there was a lot of build up, the ending was certainly not a let down. At times, I found the main character frustrating, but it's better than having a picture-perfect story with no plot. I recommend this book to any romance lovers and if you're a sports fan then there's an added bonus! The Changeup is a well written story about an older woman and a mature younger man. He's a pro baseball pitcher mature beyond his years, and she is an embittered school counselor reluctant to trust any man much less a young hottie.

The sparks fly between them, however, and true love cannot be denied. The story is HOT, tender, and easy to get caught up in.

Heroine annoying and week. Younger male lead had much more going on. I grew tired of waiting for her to get it together. I am not a big fan of romance novels but this was a quick read and had a different twist to the usual expectations of a romance novel. The heroine is a bit messed up but the hero is a true Knight in shining armor.

Chase what Sweet Man! I've read hundreds of books and probably written 3 reviews. Definitely there have been many I should have reviewed because they were good books, but I just didn't take the time shame on me. However this book I loved.
