This is just because when the gal is transported to a higher status then the story gets more media coverage and attention.

The last amish book i read was religious with nothing sexual except for longing and a few stolen kisses, But i liked the idea of a romance set in amish country, so i looked for one with more "heat", but this one was ALL sex, the other one really made u feel like your in an amish community just the romance was lacking big time, as for this book it was the exact opposite although even the couple could have been introduced better tbh, Basically i wanted a happy medium but didnt find that in this book,.
