This book was certainly a very pleasant surprise! I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't this. This was such a quick, but powerful read, and Leslie writes truth-sometimes bluntly, but in a refreshing, non-judgemental way. My kind of reading. I was so impacted by her thoughts on masculinity, gender roles, modesty standards, purity, ect. She's just such a great, wise author! Another tiny thing I liked was how many quotes she included in here. Quotes from godly young men, magazine articles, young women Really, any Christian girl should read this, and I even read some parts out loud to my dad too!
I honestly don't have any negative thoughts to say about this book. I agreed with everything Leslie presented, all her points. To my knowledge, all were spot on with Scripture. I think any girl from probably around 13 could read this, or with a parent as young as 10 or Now that I've got my thoughts out of the way, I'm gonna share some of my favorite quotes! Anything that you experience beforehand will eventually lose its luster. I hope this review peaked your interest for diving into this wonderfully accurate and timely book!
Leslie Ludy really out did herself with outlines and great details the guy question, if you ask me this a great tool for women ministry as well as youth and to forget the young adults.. Check it out for yourself to believe. Awesome book for teen girls! You are so sweet to want to give to us when you yourself are struggling as well. What a picture of comforting others out of the comfort we have received from Christ.

How can l live with Lyme The agitation is killing me I get no sleep, one hour a night I am going demented It is destroying my family too Please can God help me.
Lyme is such an awful disease. I promise it will get better! From experience I know that It is hard to keep faith in something. I prayed for my mother for 2 years and I still am! She dose drugs and is not the best person. It hurts me and my other siblings. But when I would keep faith I would feel better and be happier. But when I would let every little thing get me down it would just tear me apart and I would lose faith then that pain would never leave.

As soon as I thought about it and prayed, keep my faith up, it changed my whole perspective for the better. But when you give it all to God you feel one million times better! It may not be fixed right away but it takes time. The closer I align my truth with His truth, the more closely I identify with God—and the more my identity really is in Him.

What starts off as a seemingly small compromise can easily become a complete contradiction to the people we long to be. We set things in motion that we never intended, all because we missed the miracle of His presence and promise in the midst of the mess. It may be a distraction. It may even be a devastation for a season but it is not your final destination.
What was a downside to this situation that I can be thankful is no longer my burden to carry? What were the unrealistic expectations I had, and how can I better manage these next time? What do I need to do to boost my courage to pursue future opportunities? What is one positive change I could make in my attitude about the future?
What are some lingering negative feelings about this situation that I need to pray through and shake off to be better prepared to move forward? What is one thing God has been asking me to do today to make tomorrow easier? We must speak with peace in the midst of being threatened. We must speak of good things in the midst of a bad situation.
We must be obedient to, trust, and believe God and let Him boss around our contrary feelings. There is no lack. Nothing can be added or subtracted with human acceptance or rejection. With the fullness of God, we are free to let humans be humans—fickle and fragile and forgetful.
