For hundreds of years the rose has been widely recognized as a symbol of love, sympathy or sorrow. The rose is most commonly used as an ornamental plant grown in the garden for its beautiful flowers.

Why Do Plants Have Flowers?

The pink flowers on a peach tree in the spring are the peaches you bite into in late summer. Some flowers are used just the way they are. Ask your parents before eating flowers to make sure they are clean and have not been sprayed with bug spray or fertilizer!
