Axel was a very considerate and thorough lover and Sephina, well, she is a Seccubus after all. It was raw, sensual and HAWT. As I said, a deep book, this is not. It is a light-hearted and enjoyable adventure that heads in the direction of a HEA. You will have to read it to find out if they make it or not. Obviously this is not for the 18 and under crowd nor for those who are not interested in reading about sex.

But if you are interested in a light, fun, fantasy-filled Paranormal Romance then you have come to exactly the right place!

With beautiful description, Shields takes the reader to another reality where smoking hot dragon demons and gorgeous sex demons live among humans and other supes. Axel and Seph share and immediate and electric chemistry, that leads to some fantastic sex, even before it becomes apparent that their relationship could be something more. They need each other to survive. This becomes most important as they must fight for each-other in an action-packed climax. Yep, she was in big trouble. She was in love, whether she liked it or not. She was pretty sure she fell in love the very first night he refused to supply her with the fae wing.

Recreation is one thing, but stuff like fae wing only does bad things to good people. A romantic visit to a picturesque waterfall really stood out to me: As the falls crashed against the surface, a thick, white spray cast silky moisture against their skin.

Jan 16, Amy rated it really liked it. Jaye Shields never ceases to amaze me at how much action, storyline, and hot, steamy sex she manages to fit into a novella. Not only does she continue to create a world that is both unusual yet recognizable, she give us a deeper insight into the world of the Quetzelam and their unusual needs and fears.

Axel is sexy, hot in more ways than one , yet intriguing and very easy to fall in love with just as Seph Fab Final Chapter to the Sex Demon Trilogy! Axel is sexy, hot in more ways than one , yet intriguing and very easy to fall in love with just as Sephina does. I had hoped to learn a little more about her than what we already knew.

We knew she came from a troubled childhood. We knew she had a father who wasn't worth the air he consumed at any given moment, and we knew that, thanks to Zhara Aniron, Sephina was a saved from an even worse fate but I would like to have learned more about her hopes and dreams beyond her addictions and survival. Axel is a good influence on Sephina and when things go wrong and they are caught by dragon hunters, she shows a strength that I'm not sure she knew she had but I would like to have seen more from her.

If you haven't read any of this series, you could easily start with this one, if you'd like a wildly sexual, and creatively imaginative experience with touches of bondage and flights of fancy including soaring through the clouds with a dragon. Axel and Sephina rock the sheets Yummy, yum, yum, yum He has certainly met his match with Sephina, the Sex Demon who can handle his heat and who might just be the woman he has been looking for his whole life. I have Jaye brings the heat, so if you cant handle it Axel gave her so many things I am talking about her self-worth, her pride and the ability to trust again.

Jaye did an amazing job with the "Addiction" part of the story. The signs of withdrawl were so real that you could almost feel the need pulsing through your own veins. Sephina was flawed, and kind of broken, and we get to heal with her. Aside from all the sex, I mean come on, it's a book about Sex Demons, but aside from the Sex, it really has a lot of emotional impact and I have to say I was really routing, for Axel and Sephina to make it.

Yes, this romance is HOT! Yes, this romance has some crazy public displays of Love Makin, and Yes, there is a bit of Girl on Girl action. But there is real emotion in this story and I think it is a fantastic read for just about anyone!! Grab this one up and enjoy!! This book was all that I expected from Jaye and more!! Sephina will always hold a special place for me simply because I connected with her. I understand the depths of her despair and the darkness she struggles to keep at bay. Axel is one of those amazing men that comes along when we are at our lowest and makes us realize that there is a person that sees the real us, and loves us because of it.

I also love that she brought Zahra and Lennox into Axel's world. I have a crush on Lennox, but Axel; well, that's one man that makes me burn!

There are always books that will hold a special place in my heart. Jaye's books fit that category. Apr 21, Imogene Nix rated it it was amazing. The story was fan yourself scorching hot! Sephina is a steel spined, straight talking and kick butt material heroine. But as with many a good story, the twists and turns include details of how she got to where she is, rounding out the story.

Fair warning though, its full of super sexy scenes that smolder. Like Jaye Shields's other stories, its full of colorful characters and fanciful scenery.

Addictions is set in the same world as her other PNR series. This story features Axel, our hero, who's a dragon demon, town healer and drug dealer, whom is about to go into heat. While out selling 'shrooms, he stumbles upon our heroine Addictions of a Sex Demon is an absolutely fabulous quick PNR read. Because this book is so quick, the characters fall in love hard and fast but if you are looking for a smart and sexy, PNR, HEA read, I'd totally recommend this fun smoldering story.
