Cristiano was a great host and offered a lot of advice where to go and what to see in Ferrara. Cri is the best host one can imagine. Unsofisticated, warmhearted and allways willing to help. We felt better then we could imagine. You just have to love her! Cris was an amazing host! Very nice, friendly and he helped me on my search for a place to stay in Ferrara for my erasmus experience.

Thank you very much!! The presence of the dog inside the house wasn't mentioned anywhere which was a problem since we are allergic. Great appartment, with an artistic touch and a very nice host. If you are looking for an authentic experience, just go there, but stay more than one night to enjoy Ferrara and relax. The position is perfect, walkable from everything and the city is a small gem.

He gave us space to relax, but was still friendly and approachable. The room was comfortable. I would stay again!

Tom's place was really clean, open, comfortable and in a great location. Communication and check in was easy, and the host met us at the home on time as arranged. We would certainly stay at tom's place again. Thanks for a great stay! This cofortable flat is situated right in the pinturesque old city. Impossible to find a a better place if you want to visit Ferrara. The apartment is spacious, I valued it the most.

Also, opening the window blinds every morning with a switch is a spectacular thing that adds to the experience: I wish I had that at home. Other than that, the apartment has nice modern touch, the location is just in the centre and Tommaso, the owner, is "un sympatico". Great apartment, full of high tech gadgets and appliances including a record player.

We really felt relaxed and at home in it. Tommaso was lovely to deal with, very approachable and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is beautiful and in the best location. Working for a couple of days in Ferrara I spent just a short time in the flat, arriving late and leaving early. Mariaelena has been super nice and helpful in organizing the check in and everything was great, she had even gone foodshopping to make sure I had everything I needed! The flat is nice and confortable, great for my needs, just keep in mind that if your sleep is very light you might have a bit of a problem with people chatting in the street, you're only half a floor up and it's like being with them!

Mariaelena's apartment was clean, well-ecquipped and very cosy! There are beautiful frescos on the ceiling and the house gives you a warm, welcoming feeling: Although we didn't get a chance to meet Mariaelena in person, her friend who gave us the keys was very kind and helpful! Thank you once again for hosting us: Marielena was a wonderful host who went out of her way to help me when I arrived.

The apartment was perfect, and in a great central location - the cathedral was just round the corner. Would highly recommend for anyone thinking about staying in Ferrara! My wife and I were looking for a quiet, clean, comfortable place to stay near the center of Ferrara, with a kitchen to prepare some meals. Things started with a good omen when Riccardo welcomed us at the Ferrara railway station. With his car, we quickly arrived at the house. The kitchen, the bathroom, the living room etc.

Thanks to comfortable mattrasses and a quiet neighborhood, we slept very well we found far less comfortable mattrasses in several other Airbnbs in Italy and Greece. From the appartment it is a ten minute walk to Ferrara downtown i. Riccardo kindly provided us with two bicycles which we used only once, however, because we are both tall and all bicycles in Ferrara including bikes that one can rent in Ferrara downtown are made for shorter people. However, we did not mind this detail because everything is nearby and one can explore Ferrara on foot, too. After three days, Riccardo was kind enough to take us again back to the railway station.

We were very pleased with everything and would certainly return. The place is big, clean and very confortable! I would go back! Good communication with Riccardo as well: Very clean, comfortable, and amazingly quiet. There is also an amazing gelato place right around the corner! Riccardo was always quick to respond and really helpful. A very modern, well-appointed, stylish and comfortable apartment a short walk from the historic city centre. A privilege to stay there. Great place, clean, excellent communication, walking distance to everything.

We definitely recommend this accommodation. But what makes the stay class apart is his hospitality and how he goes the extra mile to make his guests comfortable. We stayed 5 weeks during the Summer at Riccardo's beautiful apartment. It is as comfortable , cosy and lovely as staying at "grandma's and grandpa's house".

Riccardo collected us jetlagged as we arrived direct from Australia. That was great, especially since he took our suitcase up the stairs for us. Nearby to the apartment is a Conad and a Lidl supermarket. The central market in town is close too. Think of all the cherries, peaches and apricots we ate! As it has been a hot Summer in Italy, we enjoyed the air-conditioning during our afternoon tea time. By evening it was pleasant enough to eat on the balcony. We used this apartment as a base to go to many places, sometimes staying away for a a couple of days.

The apartment includes a couple of bicycles. That is wonderful as Farrara is set up for bikes. There are plenty bike lanes. We got a puncture once and had the innertube and tyre replaced at the local bike shop. You'll be surprised at how quickly the bike shops can do repairs. Every time we rode the bikes through the old part of Ferrara, it was like being in a fairy tale come true.

There is a local swimming pool down the street. We went during the afternoons and had the pool to ourselves. All in all, it was a dream trip to Italy. Riccardo is very kind and helpful host, always available. His appartment is very cosy, clean, comfortable and spacious, the kitchen is well equipped. We had an amzing time and loved Ferara and the flat. The flat is absoutely lovely, renovated, sparkling clean, in a fantastic location and so prety and special, there is also a wonderful garden.

The hosts are so kind and atentive, provided us with bicycles we could use, gave us local tips and were extreamly helpful regarding check in and check out time. We would love to come back soon! Definitely our favorite place in our trip so far - simple but very stylish apartment that is perfect for a couple. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful historic centre of Ferrara and on the same street as an excellent ice cream store, which isn't to be missed.

The flat is tidy and really cute, extremely central and just few minutes walking to most of the historical amenities Cathedral,museums and Renaissance buildings in Ferrara.

Daria is a lovely person, kind and helpful. She's been an amazing host!! Daria was super helpful, quick to respond and went out of her way to help me with the arrivals process. The flat is small but perfectly formed and is in the ideal location for visiting the town centre. Close to some nice restaurants, bars, and breakfast places. Daria is a great host, super helpful and always contactable.

The only minus is that the closest parking is 10min walk we were there with a baby so this was difficult and noise travels easily from the other apartments within the house, which again was only a problem because we had a sleeping baby. Very nice home for our stay in Ferrara: We found everything we needed and Alba and her sister Costanza are very nice hosts. Amazing apartment in a beautiful part of the city. We could not have imagined a better place to stay to enjoy the region. A definite "stay again" option on a future trip to the region. The best airbnb experience, place that i have ever been, and perhaps the one that will be very dificult to beat.

An amazing prestative host. This apartment is really beautiful. Alba was available for all of our questions and met us on book-in, even after we brought our check in forward. The only down side is if you are bringing your car, on street parking is very restricted. Alba met us to check in and was lovely! We don't speak Italian and she speaks some English but was so lovely and made our check in and check out easy! The apartment is beautifully decorated and spotless.

It has great amenties including a coffee machine! It isn't far from the town and the bus stop is just up the street! We had a lovely stay and would return again!! Alba's apartment was a true discovery. Situated in the historical center of Ravenna yet in a quiet, friendly neighborhood just opposite the facilities of Ravenna's School of Architecture , offered us the best opportunity to explore the town laying at a walking distance from the town's main historical venues and get a real touch of its everyday life. Alba's sister, Constanza, was really pleasant and gave us an excellent reception for our stay along with great advices for local restaurants.

The apartment was very spacious, tastefully renovated overlooking the neighboring gardens offering all the necessary facilities along with a feeling of being at absolute ease. Alba was accurate and polite enough to offer us a ride to the train station with her car.

I definitely recommend Alba's apartment for your stay in Ravenna! Sonia was a very nice person. We felt very much at home in her appartment. It was clean, pleasant and had got everything we needed. It is indeed a perfect place to visit Ferrara. Sonia really deserves being called a super host.

Of course, the place was wonderful and Sonia was very hospitable, but the cherry on top, was when the power went out, I informed them, they immediately came and were about to bring some lamps, but the power came back before then. Again, lovely place, lovely people.

The apartment is very clean, modern, and outfitted with everything one might need fully stocked kitchen, dishwasher, a great shower, etc. The location is very walkable to the center of town and there are grocery stores, shops, and laundromats nearby. What makes it truly exceptional, though, is that Sonia is a fantastic host!

She stocked the apartment with food and amenities, thought of everything, was super easy to contact, and checked in to make sure everything was alright during my stay and that I had everything I needed. She really went above and beyond! This apartment was perfect for the week that I was in Ferrara. I felt really comfortable and welcomed, and I can't recommend it highly enough! Sonia was a most friendly hostess and the beautiful apartment gave us a pleasant feeling. The main square was 10 easy minutes' walk away, the supermarkets were near and we managed to find a free parking space for our car easily.

We had a very good stay. Sonia is very accurate and friendly host. There are all you need in the flat. The place is between city center and railway station. It is very convenient if you travel around Veneto snd Toscana. Was my first stay in my hometown after several years abroad and it really felt like an holiday. The house its quiet and comfortable, sparkling clean and conveniently located close to cafes, supermarkets, restaurants and at walking distance to the city centre.

The house has everything you might need, plus Sonia was a really nice host. I had a wonderful stay in Elena's beautiful casina. The amenities were top notch and the bed very comfortable. I also enjoyed very much the available bicycle for exploring Ferrara. She is a wonderful hostess and provided everything I could possibly need. Era un vero piacere e spero di tornare presto. Very secure car parking. Direct access to the old city wall , we walked and borrowed the bikes, joining the townsfolk. The city centre is walking distance and there are cafes, restaurants, bakeries etc nearby. Elena was very helpful, great coffee machine and appreciated the washing machine also. Elena is the perfect host, she was truly helpful when I was ill, assisting us to find medical help and being there when we needed her. The chalet is very quiet and yet very near the center of the old city.

It has a beautiful private garden with a view on a meadow and a faraway church. The house is well equipped, making for a perfect stay. We'll definitely return some time next year! A dream of a place on the edge of a park, yet close to the centre of everything. By bicycles supplied we wheeled down to the historic centre in less than 10 minutes.

It rained one day and La Casina was a quiet commodious place to sit and read.

We'd go back on a heartbeat. Elena is friendly and helpful. The location was terrific, northeast Ferrara, short walk to shops and trattorias.

Nice kitchenette, coffee, plenty of hot water in the shower and a washing machine too. A very comfortable studio house, with a great enclosed garden. Very quiet and very clean. It was a great stay for our visit to Ferrara. The apartment has an excellent location in the historic center of Ferrara, a small house in a huge and lovely garden. The flat is clean and well equipped with everything you need. We were provided even with bicycles -- very useful in Ferrara. Elena is kind and flexible, very easy to communicate with.

Well what can I say Elena was the most wonderful host we have ever had. Her apartment is absolutely beautiful very spacious for 2 people all the amenities you would need even a fabulous hairdryer. It was the cleanest apartment we have stayed in we could of eaten in the bathroom ha! When we arrived in Venice from Barcelona Vueling Airlines had lost our bags so we had to drive to Ferrara without them I was very stressed but Elena made it as comfortable as possible and was very helpful with places to buy clothes etc.

The next day Elena kindly rang the airport and we had to drive back to Venice to collect them it was so annoying but our stay in Ferrara was well worth it. Very close to centre. The location is absolutely perfect, in a quiet location yet few minutes walk away from all historical and arts sites of this beautiful town. Antonella has been very welcoming and helpful. Her recommendations re food are spot on. Antonella was excellent at keeping touch with us before our arrival and had organised someone else to meet us and show us how to operate wifi etc. Everything was described as it was and I should have read more closely. The location was very good and the street nice and quiet. We had a car and Antonella told us very clearly where to park and how much it would cost.

We really enjoyed our stay in Antonella's flat. It is well furnished. Everything you need is provided: It was all tidy und clean. It is located in the town centre but still quiet. Laura is lovely and was very helpful and communicative. The museum is right next door as well as the bus stop to the station! Laura was away when we arrived, but her charming sister and mother checked us in and even secured a parking spot no easy feat in Ferrara's narrow streets. They were extremely gracious and got us settled in. The neighborhood is quiet and mostly residential. It is not too long a walk from the centro storico. The building is beautiful, especially the central atrium. Laura's apartment was very cosy and comfortable.

Although small, it fits the general style of Ferrara therefore it is all you need. The only downside I could find is the lack of Internet. Other than that it is a very nice place. You will have to estimate only a 10 minute walk to the city center. Laura greeted us and assisted us to find parking and pointed us to places to see and eat.

We went to a restaurant called Woodpeckers that made amazing pumpkin and sage ravioli!!! We loved staying in Laura's apartment, which is a beautiful building, and is well furnished and located. Arrival was very easy, and there's free parking very close by, if you have a car. Laura directed us to a comfortable parking spot for our car and provide lots of great info including bringing our attention to the bike path along the walled city of Ferrara. There is a bike rental around the corner Paulo. A great spot to stay for a visit to Ferrara. Close to the center and with a friendly and informative hostess!

Laura's apartment was very nice and she was an amazing host who wanted to make sure everything was great. The downtown apartment was so clean with spacious rooms and made you feel welcome. She also accommodated us by meeting us late in the evening and really helped us get situated.

Laura was a great host and would definitely go back. Andrea has been an amazing host. We were travelling with a young child and in very rainy days. He came to pick us up and brought us back at the train station with was very very appreciated. The flat was comfortable and Andrea had set up a small bed for our daughter in the room. We'd definitely go back to his very well located flat just a couple of minutes away from the duomo and from coffee shops for breakfast if we were going back to Ferrara soon. There are some good restaurants just at the end of the street. We had a wonderful time in Ferrara and enjoyed our host and accommodations very much.

Andrea was very helpful and drove us to and from the train station. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. The bikes that were included with the apartment were wonderful to have in Ferrara. The room is much better than that from the pic. Andrea is the best host I have ever met!!! We arrived Ferrara very early and was allowed to check in around 10a. Andrea gave us the valuable suggestion to make the trip better. This was a lovely apartment very conveniently located in central Ferrara.

Andrea was a charming host. Highly recommended, and I would certainly go back again. A real value for money couple accomodation option for visitors trying to imerse into Renascentist and late middle ages Ferrara or better Emiglia-Romana. Very quiet with a nice courtyard. Bikes were a great plus for Ferrara. The night we stayed there was a little hot, we would certainly have enjoyed AC.

Overall very good experience. We were very happy with our flat in Ferrara. It was well located, had everything we needed and Andrea was very kind. Ideal for families, lovely and everything clean! With a nice terrazzo!! Location is right on the city center! Silvia was perfect since the beginning, she always was available to help us and give advices. Me and my parents had a great time in the city and if someday we decide to come back, certainly we will look for Silvia's apartament s one more time! What a lovely apartment. Much larger than the pictures can depict. Bed was ultra comfy, WiFi lightening fast, warm and cozy. Check in was easy. Only issue is there is a pub across the street that attracts quite a crowd. Make sure to bring ear plugs and use a white noise app on your phone.

Host even came back from Holiday when we locked both set of keys in the room.

I would recommend this place to anyone could. Very nice apartment right in the heart of the city. Giorgio waited patiently for us our cycleride from Ferrara took two hours longer than expected and gave us a good tip for a great restaurant. The apartment is better than described. Very comfortable, great to relax in and cook if you want but the location right near the centre and the castle is so good that we wanted to go out all the time. The restaurant recommended by Giorgio, Cucina e Botega, is very good.

Suggest you try the different pastas rather than the larger main dishes. They are so delicious. We now miss them so much. My home made Spag Bol is not quite the same! Angelo was extremely kind! I would definitely book with him again! Angelo was fantastic and even arranged to pick us up at the train station, which was really nice. He explained everything about the apartment and neighborhood and gave us some great suggestions for sights and things to do in the area. The apartment itself was perfect. It had everything we needed, the AC worked great, the TV was nice during down time it gave us a 'health warning' at two hours!

The location was the best. A super quiet neighborhood, but still in the charming medieval section of town. Easy walking distance to the train and key sights in the central part of town. I didn't have a car while there, but it was also very close to a large public parking lot. Perfect location and very nice apartment to put yourself at ease in Ferrara. Angelo was a great host. His instructions about arrival and parking were very clear and he was very accommodating when we arrived earlier than expected.

Angelo gave us some great restaurant and bar recommendations as well. Angelo was welcoming and check-in was easy and smooth. The apartment was beautiful with original exposed wood beams and a lofted bedroom. It was very well located, only a 15 minute walk from the train station and a few minutes from the central sights. She met us on arrival and wrote a list of all the things to do in Ferrara. It's only a 10 minute walk from the centre, and the surrounding streets are very beautiful to wander around. Our stay was short but we had a really lovely time. Silvia is a very welcoming friendly host who did everything to make our stay in Ferrara as perfect as it was! Her home is very warm and cosy, with personal touches that make it all the more pleasurable.

Perfect location -minutes walk from center of everything. Cool space with warm and homey touches-fresh baked goods and fruit. Private courtyard for your morning caffe. And then there is Sylvia herself. One of warmest hosts we've encountered. She was so patient while waiting for our delayed arrival only to greet us with a warm hug. Good place for short stay. Host was easy to deal with and kindly offered to let me use her bike which is a great way to see Ferrara. Kitchen very basic but otherwise very comfortable. Maria's home is only a few minutes walk from the historic centre and less than 15 minutes flat walk from the station. The bedroom on the ground floor is very spacious with a single bed and has a lockable door. Maria was away when I stayed but she had her friend meet me so it wasn't a problem. They very thoughtfully set breakfast with a choice of sweet croissants, tea and a well stocked coffee machine.

Everything was very clean and tidy and the bathroom which was accessed via the kitchen was very warm and modern. Would definitely recommend if travelling alone. It was all very easy and communication was always quick. Maria has the perfect place, in a quiet old side street just a few minutes away from the heart of historic Ferrara. Lots of shops, cafes and bars nearby, but still peaceful. The flat is quiet, clean and with a good amount of space to rest between trips out locally.

Maria was very helpful, and welcomed us and gave some tips for our stay. A recommended place for staying in Ferrara. Really good location, despite my italian being bad communication was easy, there was food, tea a bike and a piano in the room! The place is very clean and tidy. I would highly recommend it if you stay in Ferrara! Perfect location near the castle and cathedral. Cris is awesome and Luna his dog is super sweet. Room was nice and spacious. Cristiano has been a perfect host, and has kindly open the door of his house, perfectly located, despite a little noise from people conversation sometimes during the stay.
