The staff went out of their way to meet every need and they were very warm and friendly. The location is very convenient. On our last day we left our bags to be looked after and when we returned to collect them the hotel supplied water and lovely biscuits for our journey.

There was even a rose in our room. Not cheap but very nice and lovely staff Spero di ritornare presto. Location, quality of the beds, bar with chimney. Very nice place to stay, close to metro. Downside is the rooms are small but I live in Asia so by European norms this would be standard room size. Great place to stay location, staff fantastic. Nothing I did not like. The location was superb. For just a little more money I could have stayed someplace much nicer. The homely feel in a big city.

The location and service were excellent. We were walking distance to many wonderful sites and the front desk made restaurant recommendations and reservations for us that worked out beautifully. They even printed out a map and highlighted the routes to get there. The fireplace lounge was a welcoming place to relax after a long day of touring and there were always refreshments waiting for us to help accelerate the unwinding ; The room was small but very excellently appointed with many smart details.

It proved a focus on countless little luxuries as opposed to just an empty cavernous room. The white rose perfectly in bloom by the bed every day, the visually pleasing layout of the coffee station accessories, slowly revising the nightly turn-down candy to eventually be only the flavors I liked- are just a few of the countless indicators of the quiet attentions paid to us without our even knowing until later. Each detail small individually but that accumulated to an overall feeling of relaxation and care.

Superb service and attention. Fabulous interior, friendly staff and even a free bar! With that money one should expect a better bed cover such as a good quality quilt rather than a lousy blanket. Besides I did not like the receptionist trying not to give me one night free altough it has been offered to me in writing by the hotel rep. Eventually he did but it was not nice.. This is not a 5 star hotel. It is a high end business hotel at best. I was wholly satisfied! This is a small boutique hotel with exceptional service.
