I remember there was a a large man witha beard Zero Mostel? I think the last scene had him returning to his human state and walks home in a wooden barrel. Hi Christy, I am not positive but the movie you describe sounds like one of the Benji movies. If not, possibly your local library has them available in the kids section! I think it was set on Christmas time. One of the dogs is a Jack Russell Terrier that is in a wheelchair. Seems like there is an bad gang of dogs after them.
