Honor & Betray (Honor, #4) by Teresa Mummert
William loves Emma, as much as he is capable. Their love is real, but William is a bit obsessed with Emma. He will do whatever he has to do to keep her, protect her. Even if it means keeping things from her. There are two sides to every story. I love this series and I really enjoyed this book.

I knew that going in. I had a few theories view spoiler [William killing the aunt and William not really losing his memory hide spoiler ] which were wrong. A short read, you could read it in one sitting. I wish more of my questions were answered, and more would have been added to the story. I wish we would have gotten a little more of the William I know and love. And please, for the love of god View all 38 comments. The only answer I got from this book about J's death was the responsible of it. At the end it left me wondering the same as the one before this one Sometimes it looked as if he did and other like he didn't.
After the accident we only see Stephen at the end. Does it mean he has selective memory and he doesn't remember the women in his life but only his friend and family? Stephen stepped closer to us, stack of papers in hands. He smiled at me knowingly, and I smirked. I love books with different POV's but I practically read the same story but with a bit of lies and murder tendencies from William's side. Not that I don't like it but this series could have been made in 3 books with both POV's in each one.
Honor & Betray: Honor Series, Book 4 (Unabridged)
Now we'll have to wait a year or so again to see what happens next and how William will get away with all his crimes and lies and not losing Emma in the process. You never know how is he going to do. Now you are mine forever. It kind of reminds me of Dexter.. Release this one early?!!! View all 9 comments. This series is amazing. I can't help but think that William's memory came back and he is just conning Emma into staying with him by pretending his memory is still gone. I think there is more to him that will shake Emma to her core.
I think William is a psychopath or sociopath. Cannot wait until August. I waited fot this book forever and we got no answers what so ever. It was nothing new at all, the same fucking story. Waited for nothing really. I would not be surprised if he killed her aunt and that is the betrayal. And he probably has or will get his memory back and won't tell her View all 3 comments. Sorry, I'm not sorry.
I have added a new shelf just for this book: The writing, the grammar, the spelling This dude is First: This dude is a head case. Oh and he has amnesia. I don't know, the other three books were so long ago, I can barely remember them. In one section, they are making view spoiler [funeral arrangements hide spoiler ] and "arrangements" is spelled "arraignments. I know I've been on a bad-review-rampage lately, but this is the same as buying a sweater at the store and having it unravel while you are wearing it.
I bought a book. Not a rough draft. Where is this book? View all 8 comments. I have my doubts for William. I doubted all his actions in the third book and I want to see if he is honest or toying with us. William is a confusing and I wanted to kick him. I learnt how not to trust him and now I can't believe that he is not faking everything despite what his point of view might say.
I still think that he is faking The after accident William seems a better person than the one before.
I can't say that the book was worth the wait. William's obsession with Emma became c PR: William's obsession with Emma became clearer and some details about some major stuff came up. Than a man has his fingers in every pie I am hoping the 5th book will be better and I am worried about what might happen if Will finds his memory back. I am seriously struggling with William! It had been such a long time since I first started this series, that I had to reach way back into the recesses of my mind to recapture William and Emma's story.
This is the retelling of a segment of the story from William's POV. And lets just start of by saying William is not a good guy. My only struggle with this one was that I found it hard to be forgiving of him at all. When able to see him through Emma's eyes only - there was hope. But after seeing the I am seriously struggling with William! But after seeing the darkness in him during the first installment in his POV I struggle to find anything redeeming about him. The timeline takes place from the proposal to the period after the accident when Emma leaves and William goes back for her.
I anticipated some direct answers to some lingering questions but found that I was left with a lot more questions. But that just means that I will have to hold out until the next book. I am secretly hoping that something can take place to shift my opinion on William, because I seriously need it. As I expected, we get to see what happened with Emma's aunt and the memory loss after the accident, but we didn't get too large of a picture of just what is going on in William's sick and twisted head.
I really think it has more to do with me just wanting to not like William at all. I am not used to falling hard for the guy, even if you aren't meant to. The one redeeming quality I could find in him was that it appears that in his own twisted and sick way he does love Emma.

Maybe the next book will give us a bit more insight into his demons and somehow he can find redemption. So I understand the author's concept now.

Then when book three was only told from her POV, I was left with all these questions on what was real or not, was he faking, was he the murderer, I didn't know what to think. Now we have book four Now I understand this delivery was meant for this effect, however that doesn't mean I have to like it. His POV books repeat too much of the story already told. There isn't enough material to justify a separate book.
That is my problem with this series!!!!! According to Teresa Mummert's website, the book will come out in a couple of months. This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. Each two books are exactly the same story and covers the same time frame. I loved the difference in the writing style, attention to details in the first two books. And like that childhood game of yanking off flowers and pronouncing, "He loves me After reading book 3 I real 3. After reading book 3 I really thought the author would shock us with a different incite to the story. Book Three for me had ramped it up. But with so many months between page installments I have forgotten much of what happened in previous books and did not enjoy this as much. I really should have waited until the entire series was out.
The thing is, this guy is either the world's biggest monster That is what is so exciting about this series I feel like I am on a roller coaster and always about to go into a dark tunnel and suddenly finding me upside down and then righted again. I think I expected more from this book and that not much was revealed that we didn't already know. I really thought after book three that we would find out that Williams memory came back and he was not telling her and it was all an act.
Now I am not sure what to believe. He seemed so changed when waking from a coma without the hindrances of his past baggage to weigh him down but in this installment, I find he is essentially the same person in a slightly cleaner, straighter package. My question is what happens when he regains his memory completely? Will his past catch up to him and ruin his life? Or will he be truly redeemed and worthy of our the reader's forgiveness and acceptance and God knows this heroine is not the strongest minded bird in the nest. I am intrigued enough to continue and like a car crash I pass by in my car on the highway, I can't seem to turn away.
So, I patiently will await the fourth installment to reveal itself!!! I am really disappointed in this book. Unlike the other books in this series, this book is just like Honor and Obey with the only difference being that William is narrating and not Emma. Otherwise, I am really disappointed in this book. I felt like the story was a conversational retelling of events that we already knew about. To add insult to injury the laundry list of feelings, activities, and thoughts were repetitive. I still love the series and will patiently wait for the next installment.
Readers get a bit of information out of this book however it almost perfectly matches that of book 3 which is why I give it a high 3 stars. I feel like the writer just deleted a few select passages in order to incorporate the thoughts of the other person and all of the other written words are the exact. This slightly annoys me. Did I enjoy the book? But I felt like it could have been a little better. In fact, it had almost nothing do with it besides a small mention of it towards the end.
I would recommend the series. Would I read again Not this book: Honor Student Bk 2: Honor thy Teacher Bk 3: Honor and Obey Bk 4: I have been waiting a year for this book! And it was worth it, I just pray we don't have to wait that long for the next. We get to see the story from William's POV.
