Blinding Trust: Mitchell Family Series Book 7

This is an emotional read but its also very funny. Colt and Savanna have a lot of ups and downs but there love for each other is so strong they can get through anything. Ty, Ty, Ty seriously he gets funnier in each book I love him, Colt and Savanna's story would not be the same without him. Colt and Savanna have a blast from the past come back into there life which creates family issues. Zeke, Krista's brother comes back wanting to get to know his nephew. Colt and Savanna don't want someone like Zeke in Noah's life, Zeke is a rock star who has a history with drugs, booze and women.

Noah is completely taken with Zeke's lifestyle, Zeke goes as far to invite Noah to his place. This doesn't sit right with Colt and Savanna, Savanna's red flags go up and she pays the price with Noah. This causes issues with Colt, Savanna and Noah, its a very bumpy road between them, being a mother myself it was hard to read, I felt so bad for Savanna. Colt agrees to let Noah go and stay with Zeke but Colt is right there with him. Savanna has a pretty rough time, not only is she dealing with the issues between her, Noah and Colt she has a health scare and deals with it on her own.

This health scare is going to touch a lot of women, a lot of women have been through it or know someone who has. Savanna keeps her news from Colt while he is away as she doesn't want Noah hating her anymore. Savanna also keeps it from her while family but Ty knows there's something going on.

Ty turns up on Savanna's door step to help his best friend through this hard time. The Mitchell's are one strong family unit and all of them are always there for each other. This isn't just an emotional read its also very hot and steamy, after 11 years together Colt and Savanna are still as passionate about each other as they were when we first met them. Jenn Foor I think you rock each book is better then the last, you know how to keep us wanting more!

Jun 19, Black Butterfly rated it it was amazing Recommends it for: Jun 07, ratherread rated it it was amazing Shelves: Once again I was consumed by "the Mitchell family" world. I have read every book and short story in this series and am lovingly attached to all the sexy alpha Mitchell men, their beautiful heroines and now their children. And in this book, the gangs all here!!! This story is not only about the love that Savanna and Colt have for each other, it is also about the love of a family.

It is also a story about the fear associated with having a terminal illness and conquering that fear with 4. It is also a story about the fear associated with having a terminal illness and conquering that fear with recovery and survival. And of course, Jennifer Foor throws in a good measure of erotica, angst, humor and drama. It was truly a beautiful story.

It was not my favorite in the series, but I loved it just the same and felt like I was coming home just reading it. Jun 11, Tracy rated it really liked it. Blinding Trust was a really good read. What I have enjoyed about each book in this series is how easy it is to get right back into the story. Each book has been filled with loads of drama, emotion and romance and I now feel as though I know each character personally.

Jennifer Foor somehow manages to write a new book every few months so I love that I never have to wait long for the next instalment with the wonderful Mitchell Family. I absolutely loved this one! They continue right from the place the last one left off and keep sharing more news about each person in the Mitchell family. I love the cockiness of Ty and Conner, but in this book we get to see the softer side of Ty. Now he is a loving husband to Miranda and their three kids, as well as taking care of the rest of the Mitchell's when needed. And now a bit about this story Noah's uncle, a long lost relative, comes back and starts to drive a wedge between Savanna and Colt.

Just before Colt is about to go out of town Savanna gets some bad news, but decides to keep it to herself. While Colt and Noah are out visiting Noah's uncle, Savanna just needs someone to talk to, so she calls Miranda - but Ty answers. He can tell something is wrong and finally drags it out of her. In no time he is on a flight from North Carolina to Kentucky to help take care of her and her girls. When Colt comes home early, he thinks the worst and has given Ty a black eye before they can explain anything. Once he kinds out what is really going on he comes around real quick and goes back to being the strong and loving the father and husband we have grown to love.

Give this series or story a try, you will not be sorry. She was playing some game on her kindle that she played every night before bed. I heard her little reading device hit the floor and I knew I had her complete attention. I ran my hands across his cheek, spreading a trail of dirt everywhere I touched. Mud ran down his chest and as the lightning continued to strick, I could see just how dirty he was.

Nov 08, Katie rated it it was ok. I liked this book, but I'm not a huge Colt and Savannah fan. I really liked them in the first book, but it seems like each book after that Savannah gets more and more whiny. I understand her being scared about Noah and what he does hurts her feelings, but come on.

He's a kid going through a lot. Most kids at some point yell at their parents and act like they can't stand them. They grow out of it. I didn't particularly care how Colt handled certain situations. I thought he was overly dramatic invo I liked this book, but I'm not a huge Colt and Savannah fan. I thought he was overly dramatic involving the whole Ty scenario. He knew Miranda was OK with him being there and he was only there because she couldn't be. That should have clued him in that something more serious than what he thought was going on, was happening.

I personally would NOT be happy with my husband if he jumped the gun like that, especially with what he was surrounded by when he was gone.

Trust goes both ways. Also, concerning the health scare. I know first hand what it feels like to get that sort of news and I understand everyone handles trauma differently, but personally, I didn't see Van as the "strong woman" she was described as. She moped around, cried constantly, and asked every doctor if she was going to die. It would have been better and "stronger" if she would have asked how to beat this and what are her chances were of it returning and options.

Again, she just jumps the gun and assumes I'm going to die. If I were to say anyone were strong in her situation, it would have been Colt and Noah. They stepped and made sure everything was handled. They were her "rock", not the other way around. After you have a biopsy, the last thing you care about is having "relations" with your husband.

Nothing personal to any husbands, but that takes a lot out of you. She's super woman and can handle it. Think about it, any sex position is going to cause motion to "the girls". Not exactly comfortable after having a mass removed, but to each his own. All in all, it was OK. I much prefer Miranda and Tyler, but that's just a personal opinion. Sep 09, Abadak rated it it was amazing Shelves: Jennifer Foor is just amazing, she has a fantastic style and amazing choice of words and a great way of communicating her ideas to the readers. I just love the Mitchell Family series, but this book just surpassed any expectations I had for it!!!!

If you have read the story of Colt and Savannah on book 1 of the series you will totally understand where their marriage stands after 10 years and that is why I could not put this b Jennifer Foor is just amazing, she has a fantastic style and amazing choice of words and a great way of communicating her ideas to the readers. The storyline is real and you as a reader are completely engaged and taken by surprise with each page you turn. The story is not predictable at all. Remember characters here did not go through any type of trauma during their teenage years or their lives, they are just an average and happy American family.

They are all "good cowboys and well raised by their traditional southern Mama". It works for me as I needed a break from all the broken characters, dark feelings, multimillion dollars Alpha male that rescues the virgin broken girl. I wanted something normal and real with a twist and Foor delivers that in a superb way. After 10 years Savannah and Colt Mitchell are going around with their families and daily routine they are caught by surprise by a visitor and a visit to the doctor!

Blinding Trust is the 7th in the series unlike movies that have seconds or thirds that should never happen this book does not fall under those circumstances. As i started reading i knew right away this book was going to knock my socks off the story line is solid and brings up real life family issues.

Each page takes you on a different ride you laugh, cry get angry and fall in love, all what a good book should do. After 7 books you have become part of a family that you want to visit on Sundays spend holidays with and do nothing more then be in there life. You fall in love with everyone in the family, want your kids to be the kinda kids in her stories.

Van is faced with a life changing event that has touch everyone just once in life, they way the situation is handle is amazing. Jenn is one of of those authors that if you don't have at least one of her books in your kindle then your book library is missing out big time. Thanks again for a read that is beyond perfect. May 21, Jill rated it it was amazing Shelves: Absolutely the best book in the series so far!! I am absolutely still in love with Van and Colt and this book just made me so happy for them. I found myself so emotional throughout this book for so many reasons.

I don't know exactly why, but I completely felt every emotion Van was going through. There was a point in the book while Colt was in California that I really did not like him, but of course he made up for all of it once he made it home. Ugh, I don't know where to start with how Absolutely the best book in the series so far!!

Ugh, I don't know where to start with how he made me feel throughout. I do have to admit that I wished the Zeke storyline had turned out different, and more positive, but I understand where it was coming from. I LOVE Ty and seeing as how I was conflicted about him in the first book, he really has grown to one of my favorite characters. I seriously can't tell you how sad I will be the day that this series comes to an end because I LOVE this family so much!! All that being said, I do have to admit I am not happy about the choice of character for the next book.

I don't really have any desire to read anything about Heather. Will I read it? Absolutely and without a doubt, but I really only plan to in hopes of getting more of my favorite Mitchell family in the in between! This book was a true roller costar ride I was in tears a lot while reading this book very emotional.

Van oh man where to start with this chick. If you have not read the 1st 6 books stop and read them before you read this one. Van has been through so much way to much in her short 30yrs of live. Then they got married got pregnant then something awful hit them she got kidnapped by Amys baby dad and mother N law while trying escape she got hurt and lost the baby. A couple books later she gets pregnant again they have a daughter life goes on.

You must read all 7 books, if I tell any more of the story I will have to hut someone lol. May 11, Emily Goodman rated it it was amazing. I've been loving this family and author for a while now.

This is the ongoing saga of the Mitchell Family- each family lives in two states- Kentucky and North Carolina. Both live on ranches and work them. It's hard to explain their relationships with each other since it'll end up sounding redneck since they are all kind of interconnected in one way or another. I've always been a sucker for Ty and Miranda and have rooted for them since their book. I love the pranks, ba Ahhh I love the pranks, banter, and wit these characters show and the love they have for each other and their family. I will say, if I had read these books individually I think I would have been chomping at the bit for the next novel.

However, since I was lucky enought to buy them in a series, I did have to take a break from the family for a bit to read other things. I think for me, if I discovered these in individual books, I would have salivated and cherishes each novel more. Still, I have recommended this series to my fellow readers. I will definately continue to read more Jennifer Foor books. She's yet to dissapoint! May 21, Louise rated it it was amazing. Well let me first say I have no idea what Savannah must have been going through, because thank heavens, I have no experience with anything like that and i hope to god i never will. Therefore I am assuming it was portrayed accurately. Anyway back to the point. That was one hell of an emotional read. I absolutely love every single one of the Mitchell's, especially Ty and Colt. My heart though on this book belonged to Savannah and Noah. And even though this book dealt with a far more serious topic Well let me first say I have no idea what Savannah must have been going through, because thank heavens, I have no experience with anything like that and i hope to god i never will.

And even though this book dealt with a far more serious topic in addition to Savannah and Noah's relationship, I felt absolutely devastated when Noah was rejecting her, to the point of actual sobbing. There is some very funny banter between characters as well in this book, especially from Ty, even when Savannah was going through hell. This series just doesn't seem to be declining in quality for me and makes me want to keep reading more and more.

Anyway I hear Heathers book is coming next so will be interesting how that works within the series.

Jun 07, Anna rated it it was amazing. I typically love my Mitchells beause they are my guilty pleasures, but I feel like Jennifer Foor took the family to a whole new level with this book. It was a wonderful departure from the typical Mitchell formula, but it was an absolutely wonderful tribute to those of us that know someone that has battled cancer. I just had to get that out! I'm a little nervous about Heather's book though. I have invested quite a bit in hating that skank, but I trust Jennifer Foor and I'll read her grocery list if she decides to publish it! May 21, J. As usual, the Mitchell Family Series does not disappoint.

I absolutely loved it. The other reviews don't liethis is one hell of an emotional roller coaster. I was ugly crying throughout the majority of this book. My heart hurt for what the family endured in this book, but as usual the Mitchells come out stronger than before. There is a five year gap between this book and book 6, which was Connor's story. I love every member of this family and will be so sad when the series ends.

I am actually really looking forward to Heather's story I have a funny feeling that I am going to end up liking Heather May 22, Chrys rated it it was amazing. With bated breath as readers and fans of Jennifer Foors, we wanted for this instalment of The Mitchell's, not knowing what to expect and it was not what I thought it would be. It was the best. Being set five years ahead in time was a surprise. See if you have enough points for this item. Colt and Savanna have had been through so much in their marriage.

It's been five years since the family has had any kind of drama. Everyone has matured and they are all busy raising their children. Everything seems to be perfect. Until someone from Colt's past comes back into the picture. Krista's brother Zeke has done well for himself. He's in a band that's very popular. With his fame, comes drama. For the past ten years of Noah's life, he's avoided getting to know the kid, so when he shows up on Colt's doorstep, it's hard for he and Savanna to think it's a good idea.

While they struggle with what's the best decision for their son, Noah starts rebelling against Savanna. As if dealing with a kid isn't enough drama, Savanna finds herself dealing with a life or death situation. When she's left alone, she turns to someone else in her life who has always been there for her. This is a continuation of the first 6. These books are meant to be read in order.
