My first year of high school was a bit scary. You have all these upperclassmen looking at you like your a cretin, about more students than you had in middle school, and lastly there is Way to much drama in high school.

To make your experience less scary I suggest trying out new things like clubs and sports to make sure you have friends to help you through all the madness. On an academic level high school is ver exciting. You are faced with learning challenges and alot more work. It is worth it in the long run if you want to get into a good college.

Going into my sophomore year of high school. Really, honestly, truthfully, grade 9 is not hard, unless you study and listen in class. If you keep up this habit then you fly by the year with eaaassee.

And highschool at first might be scary, only because everyone is older and you feel small and intimidated, but after you get use to it.. I totally slacked off the first two quarters 'cuz I'd always been able to get A's and B's like that before, but highschool changed that, don't slack off.

No, highschool isn't scary. Most of the people I met were friendly, I made a lot of new friends and fit in pretty well. You're fine so long as you don't go looking for trouble.
