Dec 18, Linda Walters rated it it was ok. This is a sweet, somewhat predictable book. Emma was someone who was out of her element when it came to being out west. She'd been raised back east, raised to be a lady. She didn't know anything about cooking, riding a horse or doing laundry. Like I said, she was over her head. But don't count her out, she raises to many challenges without a lot of complaining. In her own way she had grit.

As Emma spent time with him she began to see that not only was he handsome but he was also protective and kind. Jonah's family was a nice addition and filled in the story nicely.

Jonah Deardon is an honorable, respected, hard working cowboy who must decide how best to aid his deceased brothers mail-order bride. You'll get caught up in this book just as I did, you won't want to put it down, and will want to read more about these two wonderful families. They are all a treasure to keep on your re-read shelf! I was amazed at how quickly I read this book, it seemed like the story was very fast paced and they fell in love too quickly. I think there could have been a better and longer story. Jan 19, Emily rated it really liked it. Just as sweet as pudding! This novella was only like pages but it was so cute! It was so awesome getting to see the Redbourne men as younguns haha!

Only complaint is she needs a better editor to catch obvious mistakes, but mistakes and all, I love any book with her name on it!
