DUTCH AND GINA: A SCANDAL IS BORN (The Presidents Girlfriend Series Book 3)

Two very simple choices she couldn't seem to make. I hate whiny women and she was the biggest culprit. I also found it disturbing that Gina would want to have sex with Dutch so soon after what happened. In a lot of these books they just have sex for no apparent reason and to be honest, each scene is the same and extremely boring and the author uses awkward words to describe sex. Sex scenes are supposed to move the story forward but not in this case. And Someone please, for the love of God, call an editor. What the hell is a vanilla envelope? Do they have chocolate too?

Grammar -spelling - it's all a mess. Although my review is mostly negative, I'm giving this book three stars because of Dutch. Without him, this series would flop.

I had been looking at this book for a while and decide to give it a try and I loved this story. What I hate about this book is that it ended. I had heard some much about this series and I was afraid to read it just in case I did not like it because I really enjoy this author. However, I loved it and read all the books back to back. Another great series which I enjoyed very much. I would highly recommend it.

We all know Dutch loves Gina immensely, but what he did for her in this book was hands down the best way a man can protect his woman. The Power of Love really fits this installment of the series, because Dutch and Gina's love really brought them through the tough times.

Of course Liz put her foot in her as and showed what she was made of. All the drama going on in this story can easily be taken as what happens on an everyday basis in DC.

Sam was more then a handful, I think she has a couple cards up her sleeve still. The mess with the ex I wanted so bad for Dutch to be the one to find out about but the way it went down was nothing more than crazy. I was hoping a little more for the ex in the lines of not only what happened to Frank but also that lit Great read!

LaLa seems to have it bad no matter what and I'm so not wanting Roman to be that fall guy. Crader is too far gone so someone new needs to step up and take Demps place. His character is growing so much. His presidency has hardened him and he definitely learns from his mistakes. I want a Dutch for myself. He treats Gina like a queen and won't let anyone disrespect her. I was glad that this story wasn't all about bashing Gina.

Dutch and Gina: The Power of Love by Mallory Monroe

I would have liked to see more fleshed out characters with Sam and Henry. I wanted to know why they behaved like they did. Then Crader is introduced and he's a beast and doesn't hold back when right is concerned. Max shows his silly tail in more ways then one with what he's up to. We get Liz in the picture who from the Crazy!

We get Liz in the picture who from the jump is caught being messy as ever. Add on the ex and her foolishness and you have one good read. One of Dutch's exes wants him and will do whatever is necessary to hurt him or discredit his wife. And how many women has Dutch slept with? Sheesh, he gets around! Gina should be afraid to have sex with him!!

Also, ediiting is badly needed. I was glad that Max finally got his in this book and I loved the way Dutch stood up for Gina to show everyone that they were a united front no matter what came their way. I also loved the way Gina Same old same old! I also loved the way Gina always stayed true to who she was and didn't conform to please others. Overall, this was an OK read. Hopefully, the next book has a different plot. I'm tired of the exes.

May 29, Gina rated it it was amazing. Betrayals all around them, deep betrayals. How can they survive these lies? Will their love and marriage survive? All of this because of their baby boy? This was definitely a roller coaster ride! When the president has had enough of the BS and shows up in congress in response to a congressional hearing, all hell breaks lose and no prisoners are taken in this no holds barred confrontation. I enjoyed this story. Gina and Dutch put up with a lot of crap. I seriously hope real Presidents and First Ladies don't have this much drama in their daily lives. The best part of the book was when Dutch put his foot down and refused to send his wife to a pack of wolves. I don't remember much about Liz from the previous book, but she was portrayed as classy and This book was not as over-the-top dramatic as the last one.
