She raised me a death flag or a survival flag or some kind of incomprehensible flag, but I ignored it. We left the area with Yuigahama staying behind, slightly waving her hand in front of her chest. Yuigahama was probably going to go group up with Miura and the others after this. We returned to the main path of the shrine we came from originally, passed under the large archway gate, and went out onto the side of the National Route. A freezing wind blew through the wide National Route.

My body shook from the cold in response and Komachi and I adjusted our collars. The street that connected from here to the station was a shopping district and because of the congestion of customers on their shrine visit, there were small stalls set up on the side of the path, the energy toe-to-toe with the interior of the temples. Komachi and Yukinoshita talked about various things like tests and the things they did during winter break. I totally forgot to buy a good luck charm! Komachi then looked at me with half-closed eyes.

I turned to Yukinoshita wondering what we should do and her shoulders were trembling and her face turned away. Yukinoshita let out a small sigh and readjusted her breathing. It looks like her lexicon of insults was updated with new entries… I sent her a dubious and fixated stare, and Yukinoshita played it off by clearing her throat. I just thought you two really do get along. I followed after her and went up to the platform.

We boarded the train upon its eventual arrival and the seats were quickly filled up, leaving us two to stand. Well, it was only about two stations. When I did, I could feel a grabbing sensation at the end of my coat. I made a quick glance and a white, small hand was squeezing the hem. The vibrations of the train running, the wind tapping against the window, and the noise of the passengers filled the interior. Even so, as the train shook, the sound of faint breathing coming from my right reached my ears.

Yukinoshita had a blank look and tilted her head. She placed her hand on her chin while speaking and checked the route map as well. Not very confident, huh? I replied back, unsure of just how far of a step I could take and ask her about it. As if the anxiety was shown on my face, Yukinoshita smiled suddenly.

They have a lot to deal with during the New Year, too. After all, in this world, there are people who ruin the mood just by being there. Consideration, does not, ask for a reward. But while there may not be a reward for being considerate, there was backlash though, huh?

I did not intentionally line up my read-through of the series with VIZ's release schedule, but I'm definitely pleased that the last volume will be available when I need it.

It kind of feels sacrilegious to be burning throu Assuming that I'm mathing properly, Bleach runs 74 volumes. It kind of feels sacrilegious to be burning through something that took Tite Kubo fifteen years to produce at a pace that will likely get me through the entire series in about 7 months, if I average ten volumes a month as I did for the first ten, but my pace might actually slow down. I've been reading a volume, then watching the anime series.

So far the anime has been between two to three episodes per volume, but I suspect that they're going to really increase the amount of episodes they get out of each volume. In fact, that might start happening pretty quickly as we finally start getting into some key battles. Volume 10 ends with us starting our first real battles against Soul Reapers. First appearances of some of my favorite Captains: Things start feeling like they matter. Which isn't to say nothing previously mattered, but this feels like Bleach proper, not Bleach set-up. The first half is kind of tedious with planning and training more than anything.

I really liked this book because there are always fights and they always talk about the eleventh , twelve company and all that. Also I liked the part when they went underground in the sewer so they can reach to their enemy to fight. As soon they went up one of the companies fighters were ready to attack and beat the enemy that the girl ambushed the two boys.

There's also more focus on the Soul Reapers, especially the captains. As this arc progresses, the story is getting better and more intense. This book was slightly less intresting than the rest for some reason I'm not quite sure why but I still read the book and liked it overall. I still recommend reading this book! Everyone finishes their training for the cannon blast and are sent into soul society. Ichigo faces his first opponent Ikkaku. The fight scene was much better than in the previous volume, and I really enjoyed it. May 07, S. Fans of the series. Friend to Yuruichi,people seem afraid of her and what she does. However, this is who the cat comes to when they need to enter the Seireitei. A punk they meet in the Rukon district, he turned out to be Kukaku's younger brother. Hot-headed, he always seems to be at odds with Ichigo. A necessary volume, however it bores me until Ichigo meets his first real Soul Reaper in combat since Renji and Kuchki in the mortal world.

That battle is awesome and is the sole reason this volume got enough to get its fourth star. This volume suffers from a bad case of necessary exposition. From that we do get at least one answer though not a complete one to a question that has plagued the series since the early volumes but that only goes so far. We also get more hints and plot points; however we are still getting more questions then ansowers at this point and it is generally here it starts to bother me. A necessary volume that suffers though exposition but rewards you with an excellent battle at the end.

Ichigo's soul energy is improving quite impressively. Just as an inside joke, whenever my sister or I see a bald person, we quick look at one another and whisper "Ikkaku Lets see if I'm right or not.
