What Money Can Buy: A Billionaire Romance

It touches on Lauren's difficulty view spoiler [- her father and money troubles - hide spoiler ] and Jason's foul business plays. There's nothing gripping or engaging. Even the 'playboy' we're meant to get excited about just seems boring. Both main characters are pretty dull.

What Money Can Buy (What Money Can Buy #1) by Katie Cramer

Our female lead, Lauren, starts off by being rather presumptuous - she makes a dramatic statement for almost no reason in the beginning of the novel view spoiler [ 'There was a chink in this guy's armor — and I was it. She decides to have sex with her 'arrogant', 'intimidating' and 'sexist' boss, despite not knowing the man. She's shallow, over excitable and rather trite. I wonder why she is given a back story of view spoiler [a sick father and two jobs to pay for his medical care hide spoiler ] when she generally seems so far from what you would expect someone in that situation to be like.

Her character bounces between challenging the male lead, Jason or Mr King for control and being absolutely submissive - though she's generally the latter. He makes a grand gesture of paying for Lauren's expenses for her father's medical treatment with the reason: Does he do this? So it seems like it's just a gesture to win Lauren over.

I don't think the material really matched that. There was a bit of spanking, a brief gag, some secretary-boss roleplaying and that was that. In my mind this light play doesn't validate the tags of BDSM. It seems, from the brief summary of the sequel, that there may be more plot and character development in the second book.

However, I really wasn't thrilled enough to continue even with the dim hope that the next book could be an improvement. It's readable, there's just little character development or motivation, and equally little plot. That isn't really the sort of thing I like to read, but from the looks of other reviews lots of people like this book. However, not every popular book is a good book, for example Fifty Shades of Grey. I think if you just want to read sex scenes then you will like this book, but if you read books for characters or story then I suggest picking another book.

What Money Can Buy: The Billionaire Boxed Set

I stopped reading about halfway through. So generally, if I see a tie on the cover of a book I automatically think, great, another Normally, I avoid them but this one was a freebie on Amazon and I figured what the heck it's only 50 some odd pages it might be worth a gander. I actually, wasn't disappointed. This was so quick and easy and not repetitive like 50 that I found myself getting into it. I'm not a huge fan of the dom scene but this wasn't bad. It has a conclusion that doesn't make you scream and there are two more shorts in the series.

The price is definitely right. Lauren a temp at King Corporations has been called into Mr. Here he tells her he needs her on a business trip and she gets whisked away the next day. Trying to figure out if Mr. King is as bad as everyone is saying or if he's just misunderstood Lauren is nervous and elated to be out of the country. It's in Italy where things start to heat up.

I'm glad I gave this one a chance and didn't pass it up. Dec 10, lyn rated it it was ok Recommends it for: Sorry to say this but after reading this book I was actually left speechless. I like the plot, how they met and the setting but the thing that left me really speechless is the fast pace of it. The story start and ends too quickly. It's short that I just read it in one sitting. I think the story is interesting enough. I just can't feel the characters cause of lack of their point of view.

I was clueless most of the time and I felt that I was left in the dark. Don't be angry with me but this was I Sorry to say this but after reading this book I was actually left speechless. Don't be angry with me but this was I felt reading it. I just wish that the story is longer than that and tells more of them. It's like I like you, I want you, Im attracted to you, then if you get it lets rip our clothes and get started. After a hot shagging session, I suddenly realize that it's more of that so let's get engage.

Rich boss, falls for a young girl that he employs and wants to make her his submissive. This book also had a little bonus story called Power Play at the end. It was obviously super short, but cute. The romance begins for a girl working two jobs to pay for her father's cancer treatment. The sex scenes are over the top in sizzling heat, as he demands she role-play and become his new assistant with lots of hot overtime after hours. The classic question in the series is 'What's next? This was a delightful story with a hot office sex scene and a perfect ending.

I tend to enjoy reading about sexy billionaire's who sweep damsels in distress off their feet. Be warned their story does not end here Sep 13, Sarah rated it it was amazing. This was a brilliant book and I really did enjoy it I'm just waiting for book 3 to come out so I can carry on reading but gotta say If u liked 50 shades of grey u will love these books the only down fall is that I wish they were longer cuz they r so good I didn't want them to end ;.
