After arriving, Gladys and her staff were very accommodating. On the mountain, the porters and guides were absolutely fantastic. Our head guide, Prosper ask for him , even performed daily medical checks to make sure we properly acclimatized to the altitude. They also made sure that the whole group safely made it to the summit. Overall, Gladys Adventure is a great company and I highly recommend them for the Mt. I loved every bit of it!

The guides were really good at their job, and they did everything in their power to make us happy. I have nothing but excellent things to say about Gladys adventure. We were a group of 12 people traveling together, who was going on a safari for 9 days. The guides Mariki and Peter were amazing, funny guys and very helpful.

The cooks made delicious food for us and the hygiene was at its best - none of us got sick during the safari. If I'm ever going on a safari again in Tanzania I would definitely book Gladys adventure again thank you so much for this amazing adventure. We had an amazing time climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro with Gladys Adventure. We did a 7 day climb on the Lemosho route in June as part of an open group climb. There is already a wealth of information on the internet about the mountain and climb, which was epic, but I want to specifically recommend Gladys Adventure as a guide company.

Here's why we loved them: The guides set clear expectations on the timing and sequence of each day, and everything ran like clockwork. We felt safe with these guys, and they got us all to the top and down again, including some who really struggled. The personal attention from the guides on the difficult summit push was confidence-inspiring and exactly what we needed to feel safe and be successful. We could tell they were monitoring us closely and taking good care of us.

Compared to our typical self-supported minimalist backpacking adventures, this felt like a luxury trip! My friend rented gear from them and it was all sufficient. As for the climb itself, we are long-distance runners in good shape and experienced with the mental side of pushing through fatigue and discomfort, but the summit push was still humbling.

The rest of the days were quite manageable, but it really is all about that nighttime push up the final feet, and the effects of high altitude were unnerving. For me personally the cold was also a major challenge, despite having all the recommended warm clothes and gear, but once the sun came up at the summit and I thawed out, it was all worth it.

We highly recommend this company! If any team can get you to the top of Kilimanjaro, Gladys Adventure will. Myself and 2 friends used Glady's Adventure Co to climb Kilimanjaro. We hiked the Lemosho route in 7 days and had an amazing experience. Kibacha and Rashidi head guide and assistant guide were very friendly, experienced and knowledgeable of all things Kilimanjaro.

The rest of the staff were excellent and very professional. Every evening we had a debrief and vitals check before discussing the next day's itinerary. I rented almost all of my gear from Glady's Adventure and it was in great shape. The food was well prepared and very good and we were provided with clean, boiled water every morning and evening to make sure we had at least 3L at all times.

Overall we were very impressed with the level of service and professionalism we experience with Glady's and highly recommend using them. They are, also, part of the KPAA and follow the regulations set for porters and staff. We passed some porters passed out or in bad condition on the mountain due to lack of food and rest.

Ours were fed 3 meals a day and strictly follow the 25kg limit for weight they can carry. Please consider using Glady's Adventure Company for your Kilimanjaro and safari adventures!
