Mi Luna Carmesí (Spanish Edition)
So I got the pork mole verde and it was great! I love that they have Valle de Guadalupe wines. Service was excellent, honest, and entertaining. I will definitely return. My partner and I had a short vacation in San Diego timed perfectly to coincide with the heaviest rains they have had in years.
We arrived early and sat at the bar where we had a very interesting conversation with the bartender who was very knowledgeable about tequilas and preferred tequillas over mezcals. We enjoyed a couple of excellent Margaritas and hardly noticed the half hour wait. The food was good and the portions generous.
Series: Malazan Universe
I hope to return one day when the weather is more typically San Diegan. The food is great, especially The variety of moles. My friend wanted to treat me to a birthday lunch and had never experienced the pleasure of dining here. End of business trip and the best way to unwind!
Mi Luna Carmes (Spanish, Paperback)
My new favorite Mexican Restraunt. The food tasted as if it was made by your abuelita. Our group of four so enjoyed a lunch at El Agave. The moles were smooth and delicious. The octopus entre amazing. I tried a flight of tequila and everyone had to weigh in on their favorite. This is our favorite Mexican restaurant ever. Quiet and efficient service. The best mole sauce ever!
Complex flavors include chocolate, cinnamon, cloves, cayenne, poblano. Cilantro soup was delicious.
The Mexican Tempranillo complimented the meal with class. And the tequila museum was fun to explore!! This restaurant never disappoints. The food is unique and delicious as are the house margaritas. We come on a special occasion and leave feeling like the experience was excellent. I am gluten free and the help knows what items are safe Was not a fan.
Went here because it was close to where we were going next. Food was extremely underwhelming. Meet seeing knats and flies. Had most of the people sitting on the patio porch which is all closed in. Main Dining Room was nearly empty. Service was fine and attentive. But the food was just plain funky weird. Maybe they were beets? It was funky tasting. Ordered one of the soups, tasted like a can of enchilada sauce watered down with some really weird texture croutons?
I dont know if it was tripe or what it was slimy and funky. Other dish the seafood tasted off. The chips were good, and liked the green salsa. Other than that, I can not understand the rating on open table. It was 60 bucks for 2 appetizers, 1 drink , an iced tea, and soup. I'm fine with the cost if its taste good. El Agave does amazing moles. Their portions are very generous with prices that are reasonable. The tequila selection alone is worth the trip. I couldn't begin to count the number of bottles displayed. Very charming and delicious evening!! Amazing restaurant with fabulous drinks and authentic Mexican food An absolute favorite place!
Most delicious and great service. Brought back memories of my mama's Sunday dinners! Not the typical "beans and rice" Mexican fare. Exquisite flavors and great preparations. Very unique space and amazing selection of tequilas. The menu has a lot of great options and everyone enjoyed their choices.
I got the local sea bass plate which was pretty good but I would get it again since it was a little over cooked, overpowering the fish and not really worth the price. The cilantro soup was a really good starter though and would get it again. This is one if not the only true Mexican restaurant in San Diego.
The multi dishes are outstanding! If you want true legitimate Mexican food this is your restaurant. It blows all of the other so-called Mexican restaurants in town away.

The ambience is classic high-end Mexican and classic. The food was absolutely wonderful. The mole dishes are just outstanding and gluten free which is wonderful. We were in old town for the day of the dead celebration so it was a bit busy.

The food was great! We did have to hunt down the server to get more drinks but it was busy. Great authentic Mexican food with an outstanding atmosphere. Blood Moons and Rain also occur just as frequently, though with new Hardmode enemies. Several new Tools , Weapons , Accessories , Armors , and crafting materials become available in Hardmode, as enemy drops, sold from NPCs, or via crafting. Drills , Chainsaws , and Repeaters are variations of Pickaxes , Axes , and Bows , respectively, which can be obtained once in Hardmode. In addition, Hallowed Armor and associated tools and weapons become available: Crafting Hallow-tier items required creating the item sets for what was then all the hardmode ores and defeating the Mechanical Bosses introduced with hardmode for set-specific boss souls.
Many of the hardmode Armor sets have three different options for the Helmet slot, which each benefit players that use either Magic Weapons , Melee Weapons , or Ranged Weapons. Shroomite Armor is an exception - its helmet choices benefit ranged weapons in all cases, although only specific ones see the article for details.
