Johnson wrote a very heart wrenching testimony of his persistence in overcoming despite so many MAJOR challenges. Things that should have completely wiped him out such as loss, have been the catalyst that pushed him into destiny.
He shows us the reader how with prayer and faith, you really can overcome the worst that life can throw at you. Secondly, it has the ability to be inspirational. What I like most is it if nothing shows the strength of what forgiveness and maintaining your faith. A wonderful personal journey of survival, forgiveness and healing. Johnson challenges the stereotypical image of men by showing his own compassion and desire to be a healthy person instead of choosing a destructive path. There are many men of color who are working toward healing and who are healthy, yet these are not the stories we hear in the media.
