After a week I was expected to drive over speed limit to reach deadlines. Made to lie and cover up existing damage so the customer would have to pay for damage done in the yard by employers etc. Promised 40 hours a week if sickness and lateness weren't an issue, which they weren't but hours were way below Was released with no explanation and was told if anyone asks just tell them we had no hours to give you.
Not what you'd expect for a well known company. Good to work for. Good place to work, deliver and collect cars throughout northeast. Management and office staff good to work with. Worked for the Southampton branch for a few months as a Driver the first few weeks everyone was nice and helpful talkative have a laugh with was enjoying it a lot untill Well I thought, after a few more weeks I started noticing the other workers drivers I called a team wasn't being team players kept cutting me out and ditching me on routes, supose to check each others vehicles aswel for damage as a team this didn't happen, I get dropped off at a pick up then they drive off leaving me to fend for my self even if the car key isn't there to collect, on my last day I was getting totally cut out from everything no one talked to me the manager was also being rude towards me and my work.

Even thoe I was doing what I've been taught and never have had complaints before, until the end off the day they all seemed to be nice out off the blue saying do the last pick up then u can go home early so I did the one last pick up came back got sent in the office they told me to leave the branch for good as i!! I wasn't being a team player and didn't fit in!?? Witch confused me, I tried pleading to stay as I was enjoying the job and the money and have a fiance I was going to marrie and save for the wedding thats now on hold, if only they could see there other staff how they behave on the roads, there no young sprites and driving with carless intention and breaking speed limits..
Was ok former employe of luton. I worked for them for a short time on a 0hour contract manger was great and very understanding and supportive. Can't say the same for a member of office staff who could be rude and intimerdating. I end the end felt very uncomfortable and the 0hours was not working for me. I had a famliy member fall very ill whilst my manger was u satanising the off staff was not which lead to me leaving.
