With his life, his soul and his heart on the line, can Samyaza save the world or destroy it? Ratings and Reviews 1 1 star ratings 1 reviews. Yes No Thanks for your feedback! Ok I've known of this author for years, but had never read one of her books, so this is the first and let me tell you that I love her style of writing. She describes everything in detail even the characters thoughts, I just let my imagine do the rest and I felt I was right there in the story.
This is a great series and this first book centers on introducing you to the characters which are fallen angels, the hell they've been through literaly and what the series is going to revolve around. This is Samyaza and Crystals story, Samyaza is one of The Watcher of the Fallen Angel condemned to prison in hell together with his fellow Watchers for bedding humans they were supposed to be watching.
He has been suffering the perpetual lashes of Demons until he is freed of his prison walls and thrust onto the human world once again thousands of years later. When he opens his eyes, it is to look into the eyes of angel, his savior Crystal. Applyon is as powerful as Lucifer in hell, but he was stripped of his his powers thousands of years ago and thrust to the human world where he has lived through centuries with limited power. He now realizes that there is a very, very dark event about to happen on earth and that he will need all the Watchers by his side if he is to avoid it from happening.
Lot's of intrigue and mystery evolves as Applyon and Samyaza try to uncover the clues he needs in order to find the remaining Watchers. Can't wait to read the next book of this amazing mysterious and fascinating story. A delightful and deliciously creepy book—very reminiscent of Roald Dahl. My only complaint is that I wish it were longer. More backstory on Fing, more adventures with Ulrich.
